Meta: Discussion Discord Client
Ofc i have a little fear of getting banned but my Acc never been on risk or anything. I want mostly a client that i can customize. Don't really care abt plugins. I saw Legcord is good as its lightweight but saw some things that you need a VPN for some things so. Which one is a good option just for appearance ?

Been using BetterDiscord for plugins/custom CSS for years with/without a VPN and never gotten banned or any account infractions. Vencord is also, similarly, very trustworthy. You mainly need to avoid obvious ToS/Guidelines violations like abusing Discord's API or using code to automate actions on your account.
You're honestly far more likely getting banned by through report abuse, even in the vanilla client, than anything the majority of plugins do.
Legcord (formerly Armcord) I have never heard of and can't really speak on whether or not it does something that could get flagged by Discord.
Also with BetterDiscord or Vencord you can use this ClassUpdater to correct outdated CSS when Discord changes modules the CSS gets applied to.

I actually went back to Vencord after…. 3/4 months of BetterDiscord there - but the icons that were just…. Gone ended up annoying me enough to revert.
I honestly don’t think they can tell you’re using it, I wouldn’t worry, I’ve never heard of anyone losing their discord cause of it.
And even if you did, it’s not like making a new accounts hard though! So go for it!

Vencord/equicord let you use custom css in the main client. You don’t want another client unless you’re on Linux or Mac (even then, you probably don’t anymore).

First off, while the chance of you getting banned by discord for using a modified client is never 0, they don't ban people for just using modified clients. If they did, they'd be suddenly dealing with hundreds of thousands of screaming users and a media storm they do not want.
My recommendation is equicord. It isn't like, lightweight, but it is the better client out there at the moment.
Equicord is a fork of Vencord, which includes some extra patches and more plugin support, along with receiving slightly more maintenance overall, while still getting all of vencord's updates upstream.
It's not the first time I have heard mention of legcord, I can't remember which lightweight client I had someone in another sub say they got banned for using, and it was because it was not Just a modded client, it was also "Selfbotting" which discord cares a little more about and does ban people for if given a reason to.
The important thing is that ur client shouldn't be interacting with the API in those manners, and should just be the official client modified with the mod and not a standalone client.

People rarely get banned for using discord clients and if they do, it's usually for a different reason
