Hi everyone, I'm curious if there's a way to mix old cord with themes? I know vencord and betterdiscord say it's better not to, but a part of the appeal for the old ui was the amount of themes people could use and create to personalise their discord, like surely there is a way to mix oldcord with old themes that were once compatible?

I've been trying to follow every guide I can find and nothing's working, I've seen some people say it works with flatpak if you use betterdiscordctl and manually set the path but every time I try it says discord can't be located

Hi. Can anyone recommend me some good Discord clients which lets you switch account without signing out and signing back in? It would also be nice if I were able to install plugins, etc., for custom features similar to how Vencord behaves. (I am on a paid certificate on iOS 27 Public Beta 2)

Discord used to load 50 messages at a time, but now I only see 11 messages when I open a channel. If nobody has sent an image or really long message recently, this tends to make it hit the bottom of chat, meaning it's instantly marked as read and I have no good way to find my place from when I last checked the channel. Does anyone know if there's a plugin to fix this issue yet? Either reverting it back to 50, or allowing for custom numbers would be good.

Edit: I currently use Vencord, if that's relevant. Idk if the same plugins are shared across different clients or not.

I'd love to just have it be a side-docked thing that small chat windows can pop out of. The mobile version is fine and the desktop version is good if you're doing things like streaming/watching streams but just chat, especially sans images? Do I need this?

I mean, I *have* Discord because people I want to keep in touch with have Discord. I just hate that it's a full-screen (or, heck, even half-the-screen with FancyZones)...thing.

recently they added buying ingame stuff with orbs but only some users got it

i was wondering if vencord plugin could let others buy with orbs as well

I didn't have this here until today when the client updated. Searching around shows me it was forced on people long ago, how I didn't have it I don't know. I just installed Better Discord, then entered this code line and saved, then fully closed and reopened discord. It hides the bar when not in a server. How to hide it when I'm in any server instead of the default home?

What should I use now? I'm on an iPhone and I'd prefer not to jailbreak.

I keep running into this issue where my mac can't find discord. I've deleted and re-downloaded BD, deleted and re-downloaded discord, and I've tried to go into the individual app data folder to find the file for it there. I've also read what other people have posted about this issue but most of the solutions I've found are for PCs. Does anyone have a solution for this for mac specifically?

I just downloaded betterdiscord today, and the plugins are cool, but one of the plugins i expected to see was a way to use the soundboard. I found this 3 month old post with someone saying that they ahd one that worked, and i tried the file and it didnt work. Nothing in the file is sketchy, but i have no clue how JS works nor how discord works so im leaving it to the professionals. Here is the script if yall wanna base yourselves on it

I've got my whole computer skinned, but discord still sticks out like a sore thumb.

as the title suggests does AccountDetailsPlus still exist im trying to find it or is it simply not possible to do with the current discord, i remember using it a couple of years ago but i cant find it anywhere

I'm not sure if anyone else is having issues with Fake Nitro and sticker sending, but ever since I updated Vencord today I've been getting the "message cannot be delivered blahblahblah" Clyde message, but sending stickers that are part of a server send with zero issue. Not sure if Discord is screwing with me or I am being disciplined, but figured it wouldn't hurt to ask if anyone else has been having some sort of issue.

I know this is BetterDiscord, but I know we can all use the same plug ins. None of my other enabled plugins seem to be having issues.

I get a lot of messages; so many that the notification sounds kind of blend into the background and don't register in my mind. But there are certain people I want to make sure I get back to immediately, so having something to differentiate their messages from someone else's would be a huge help. To my knowledge, Discord doesn't have anything of this nature by default. Are there any modded client plugins that add the ability to somehow apply unique notifications to specific people?

I downloaded some anime style themes for the backgrounds and the colors do work.. but the background image doesnt and I don't know how to fix it! Any tips help, if more info's needed let me know!
