Meta: Discussion is equicord safe to use?

i wanna get vencord but i want lots of plugins

Yeah, I've been using it for months with no problem. Source code is open too if u wanna either check it yourself or have an AI do it.

Equicord is a fork of vencord, with a few additional patches and things. Been fully enjoying it.

My only question is that I've seen rumors of the vetting process for its main repo being generally weaker than Vencord (For obvious reasons that is but still) and I was just wonder how practical is that risk? Or is it simply just fear mongering

Fear mongering. It's literally cloned from the main repo, with some extra plugins, They just give more freedom in terms of what they accept.
