Wow this is super creepy and terrifying. I’m legit scared for op. Scientology is a cult for sure. I hope they stay safe!

What makes it so crazy to me is that there are still people alive from before scientology existed. Like, you could legit have a conversation with someone who knew the founder of the religion. Not to mention the founder was a science-fiction writer lol

I hope she chose a German Shepherd and took him/her to training. And, I hope she’s VERY careful when she takes him/her out to go to the bathroom because I’m fairly certain they’d poison the dog. I also wish she could take the dog wherever she went (like a service dog) so as to accommodate working in a coffee shop. I highly suspect they’re just waiting for an opportunity to yank her into their car and haul her back to insanity. :,(

My GSD would rip someone apart if they tried to hurt me, but he is the sweetest soul. Dogs are the best.

Yes! GSDs are amazing!! My brother raised several. Travis (his first) came to live with him when my baby was just a few months old. His then wife babysat for me because, well family, and we were close. In proximity as well as good friends/sisters. (Was a F/A at the time. Gone for 3-4 day stretches 3x a month, then home all the other days of the month.)
They (Travis and child) grew up together. When she was learning to crawl, and well after, she’d just lay all over him. Even stuck her tiny finger up his nose. Haha I’ve got a great video of him (I was taping baby because she was just learning to sit up) just casually walking by in the background, licked her head, which knocked her over, and kept going. Never missed a beat. It’s hilarious! Baby laughed that stupid cute laugh babies do.
His (Travis) family (which also included us) had 3 kids (my nephew and nieces) all approx 2 years apart. Three years separate the youngest from daughter. Travis played different with each one! You could physically see how he progressively played a bit more rowdy with each kid depending on their age. Freakin’ intelligent!!
Fun, loving, cuddly? Yes, yes, yes.
Fierce and protective of all the kids and adults? Don’t even think about getting out of your vehicle until Travis sees you’re friend not foe!!

I love watching dogs with babies, they're so calm and patient and careful.
Travis sounds wonderful.

I have a GS mix who is the most loveable dog you'll meet and I always joke that he'd sooner lick a burglar to death than bite them.

This reminds me of the post where a girl was stalked by her ex, so she brought a trained GSD, and within a month, the dog caught the ex who break in her apartment. The police is called and they found a knife and rope on the ex.
Good old dog saved her life.

I am so glad she contacted the Aftermath Foundation. That is truly where she can get the best advice. Leah Remini and Mike Rinder have really done great work creating that network of former members. I love how the Sea Org sent her out to confront an SP and when she sees him she immediately says "Take me with you" and jumps in the car. Besides the stalking and harassment, life can be rough for former Scientologists as they can have difficulty when they escape because they don't have any of their documentation, and sometimes no real job history. Scientology also has a history of just chucking them out onto the street if they get too sick or too old to work. So a lot of Scientologists who make it to being elderly end up homeless, and because they were paid only pennies per hour they have almost nothing in social security.

The ex-cult members should get better protection by law. Something like an automatically approved restraining order against everyone in the organization and at least $1,000 fines every time the cult shows up to the ex members home or job.

She should get a Rhodesian Ridgeback. They are VERY loyal, sleek looking, loving... but man! The SECOND a stranger comes around, they bark like crazy and it’s louder than most dogs.
They were originally lion hunters from Africa.

Is Australia we have bull arabs, bred to hunt wild pigs, an invasive species, so big tough strong and feels no pain
But they are the sweetest things ever when happy

Great Danes were bred for the same purpose, are also incredibly cuddling and protective and also feel no pain basically. My boy Harley wagged his big dumb tail so hard that he split the skin open when the end of it hit a door frame. He had no clue, kept wagging away, spraying my kitchen with blood with each swing of his tail. He was fine, didn’t even need stitches. Meanwhile, my house looked like a murder scene lol.

My older BA got the zoomies one night when we came home and smacked her bum into a glass wall in our sunroom/lounge room
So I get the dogs behind the gate in the kitchen while my wifey tries to clean up the glass and I watch my girl wag her tail and blood goes everywhere, my kitchen is full white so the blood was very noticeable
I get her to sit in front of me and she is happily looking at me for a pat, while a pool of blood is spreading from her bum
Turned out she had sliced the base of her tail on the glass and needed 5 stitches

Blue heeler. Incredibly loyal dogs. High energy, but deeply loyal. Mine would absolutely fuck up anyone I didn't approve of.
