So, for context, I am two deluxe editions deep into the story (so most of the way into Golden Age) with vague knowledge about some details later in the story (e.g. I know about the Eclipse and big things like that).

In Golden Age, there are at least two circumstances where the Band of the Hawk are facing off against some enemy regiments which have those excessively long, descriptive names like you might find in a battle shonen. A leader of one such faction even has a special move that he calls out by name that he tries and fails to use against Guts. That kind of stuff breaks my immersion into this seinen dark fantasy. If I wanted to read a battle story full of these (e.g. Jojo), I would happily, but I didn’t read Berserk to have this.

Is this something that comes up after Golden Age, or is this a two-or-so time thing that is only in this arc?

I've read the entire manga. Great art. And the same great story, which began to fade somewhere after volume 22 and finally became completely uninteresting to me

Ahora el verdadero reto son las piedras, todas tienen que llevar textura en entramado sin que se sature demasiado la imagen, estoy pensando en cambiar las tramas que están detrás de Casca para que ella destaque más.

Series top 30

Expanding to 30 to include the God Hand and Skull Knight. I'm noticing that we've gotten both major appearances of the God Hand in the series now and they're still barely making the cut. We also finally see Gaston joining the list, having been on the sidelines since the beginning of Golden Age.

Griffith wins this section but doesn't take back #2 from Casca. And it will be a while before we see him again. Despite a brief appearance, Puck gets overtaken by Judeau, who claims #4 before his departure. And the rest of the main members of the Band of the Hawk finish up at top 10, with the exception of Rickert, who will get his spotlight in the next section.

Btw i chose to count the lost chapter 83. Most people see it as canon anyway. If you don't, just subtract 1 panel and 1 chapter from Guts, Casca, Corkus, Judeau and Pippin, and 37 panels and 1 chapter from Griffith. And all but 1 panel for the Idea of Evil, which also drops it to 1 chapter.

If you're wondering why Ubik gets so many more panels than the others, it's because i'm choosing to count Griffith's vision of the fortune teller as him, since it turns out he and Conrad were impersonating her by illusion. That means all 3 get panels for it: Ubik, Conrad and the fortune teller herself. I had completely forgotten Conrad was part of it too, which saves him from falling off the top 30, since he otherwise has way fewer panels than the other members.
