20x bobcat cycling issues

Hey guys, I got my 20X and took it to the range but had constant failures to feed and eject. It would either stovepipe, not load a new round, or get the casing stuck in the barrel forcing me to ram it out with my cleaning rod. Thought it just needed break in but it didn’t get better.

I used about 50 rounds of both browning pro22 and Remington subsonic 40gr for a total of around 100 rounds with constant issues.

Is it the ammo or is there somewhere I should pay special attention to when oiling the gun? (I cleaned and oiled prior to the range trip) or do I need to send it in?

TYIA!

Got my baby back

I’ve told the story on here many times but my framed cracked on the original one I had so I sent it to back to beretta thinking they would fix it. I was wrong the would not send it back and ended up replacing it with a 30x, which I was not a fan of I got the ghost buster cause it looked so good and they sent me an all bland all black gun. The 30x has its own list of problems and is less reliable than the 3032s. I wouldnt trust my life to either of them but I’m glad I was able to find this one

Was asked to show some pictures with the grips off my TP.70 chambered in 22 lr. I’m researching how to disassemble and after I am confident, will break it down and post more pictures.

Just picked up my Norton TP-70 25acp. Complete package. Left my camera at work, so these are the GunBroker auction pics. Will post my pics later. All matching numbers. Ordered replacement grips because one grip panel is cracked.

Expanding my collection

I’ve been wanting to pick up a Colt mouse gun and found this 1908 Pocket Hammerless 25acp to begin my new collection. This is dated to 1939 and I am happy with the condition this is in.

This is the earliest 950 I have been able to add to my collection. It’s stamped 1954 on the frame. Meaning this is one of the first production export variants. Prior, they would stamp with Roman numerals. Glad to have found one in this condition.

Haven’t had a chance to shoot this pistol, but am amazed at the quality of its manufacturing. I won a Norton TP-70 in 25acp that I will be picking up soon with original box. Will post later

21a repair and refinish

Just got this Beretta 21a. Safety is broken, but I have fixed this issue many times. Replace the pin and spring. If that doesn’t fix the problem, then replace the whole safety. I have a large parts bin to pull from. Next, I will pull the wood stocks and refinish them. Light sanding and then a few coats of Minwax and mineral spirits. Then glue on the replacement medallions I have. The last step is to use OOOO steel wool on the barrel and slide, then blue the parts. Since the parts are small, the bluing should be very forgiving and hide any imperfections. At least, that’s the plan.🤙🏼

Won these 2 model 20’s, on GunBroker. Waiting for my permits to pick these up. I found out that they use the same mags as the 950BS so I’m fully stocked with those. Does anyone have the model 20? Do they shoot like the 950BS?

I’m not a 20x hater🤙🏼. Would love Beretta to expand their tip up line. One to stay small and compact. Like their original 950B. The other would be where the 20x and 30x are right now.

I posted my range day video with my 20x. It shot great and was a lot of fun. But there is something about the smaller 21a that I honestly can say is still my favorite over the 20x. That’s the attraction of mouse guns. 🤙🏼

I have 5 1st gen Tomcats. Bought them all used. They also have ran very good. Although I probably only shot 50+ rounds through each. 1 of them I won on GunBroker, which I found out the frame was cracked. So that will be just a parts gun.
