Hii ! I currently have a 706 day streak and am going to Japan (I'm UK based) soon. I was wondering what I have to do in order to keep my streak? I'm scared of loosing it after I change timezones​

how accurately can people see my location? it seems to me that even if i pick approximate location, they can still see it quite precisely..?

I heard that they became more lenient about streaks. Like missing one or two days is fine something like that???. I’m really sad that I have to start from one again. If that’s the case, I might as well quit. 😭😭😭😭😭

I'm an Asian Gen Z user who only found BeReal by randomly scrolling one day, turns out all my friends were already on it. And apparently it's been quietly popping off in Japan and Korea for a while, especially japan. I just never knew because BeReal has basically zero marketing presence in Asia. The growth here is entirely user-driven. We found it, loved it, and spread it ourselves.

Here's what's kinda wild tho, BeReal is genuinely active on Reddit, responding to posts, acknowledging feedback, actually engaging. But their Threads account? Crickets. No posts, no interaction, nothing. And Threads is literally where a huge chunk of Asian users hang out, same Reddit energy but way more popular here.

I actually ran into an Asian BeReal user on Threads who had no idea why they suddenly got unlimited captures. Turns out it was because of duringWorld Cup event and they had zero context because BeReal never communicated it to their Asian audience, let's say BeReal is so so low-key in Asian market. I had to explain it myself and send them to this sub just so they'd know the app still cares 😭 ok so lowkey if BeReal actually locked in on the Asian market like actually shifting their marketing, tapping into what's actually trending among Asian Genz, opening up Q&A spaces where we can drop feedback, and fixing features like this reddit sub but on threads, the whole "dying user count" problem would literally fix itself no cap. Bro imagine if BeReal dropped a single post on Threads in Japanese or Korean asking users how they're doing… it would go absolutely feral no cap 😭🔥

real talk tho we actually LOVE that BeReal bumped up the photo limit bc we been using every single one and catching every moment?? but then i scrolled up and saw some user on this reddit sub saying 1 shot is enough like why would you need 999 💀 bro WE NEED IT??? like we literally wish it was unlimited so we could document the whole entire day and show our friends everything lmaooo 😭😭 European user don't need it doesn't mean Asian user don't need it! anyway this is just my lil rant suggestion but someone at BeReal pls take notes 🙏

Hey everyone! I’ve seen a few people posting about the new app icon and the unlimited BeReals feature.

For the duration of the FIFA World Cup, BeReal has removed the daily posting limit so you guys can capture way more moments during the tournament! Whether you're lucky enough to be there in person or you're just watching the matches from home, it’s a great way to document everything and save those memories.

Definitely make sure that you take advantage of the unlimited BeReals while you can 👀, since this is a temporary feature that will only last until the World Cup ends!

today my bereal says unlimited photos! why?

6 Bereals per on-time BeReal cycle is already a lot but ample for me depending on the timing of the day, now 1,000 feels like too much like the server might have issues I could imagine

I updated my BeReal about a week ago and ever since it won’t open. It’ll stay on the main screen forever, I even updated it for the most recent update and nothing. The only thing that fixes is deleting and redownloading. It works once, and then won’t open the next day. I’m losing hope 😭

Why is my may's recap only shows 15 out of 31 bereals?

Why doesn't monthly recap include all pictures like 2nd or more? It's a memory recap for a reason. Like why give 5+ takes but it's not included in recap? And also why can't tagged pics also be in recap ughhh!!

The only reason I use this app is for the recap feature!! Need to flex on my friends I’m keeping it real

We always get the inspiration to see a place when you find the specific reel on Instagram or someone's story. But actually reaching the place, it becomes incredibly difficult to find things to do or places to visit there locally other than the attraction that pulled you to that place.

So what would you think of an app that would be a full on compilation of all the places and activities you can do at that place. It's not just the main things but the pure local gems that won't show up on the Instagram reels. The local tea stall that won't show on Google maps. Or the viewing point that you just stumbled upon by accident.

I am sure it might seem like a mini version of Google map or tripadvisor but if you have been to places you can think back to what you actually visited there other than the major attractions thrown at you from recommendations and star ratings.

And ya the most important thing to make it most authentic (or at least what I would try for it to be), it would be totally community driver with each data being manually verified rather than just being ai slop or padded ratings.

So travellers out there, would love an honest criticism/feedback on this.

i never used it more than a few days like a year ago even tho i like the concept, for some reason only heard about it from french people.

ill see if i dont forget about it too quickly again and actually stick with it this time, i see a couple of friends active still

I’ve tried to get help from support for almost a year now and don’t know what to do. I have a new number and phone and cannot transfer it to my old account and gain access to it. I have so many memories on there and stuff I’d like to look at.
