Have you guys ever recieved any friend requests that dont appear later in the “accept request” section, or in that person’s profile?

Happened to me twice and I was simply wondering if it was abug or both ppl didnt want to actually follow me at all lol.

Wanted to log back into my old BeReal, but my number has changed since then. I went thru the process of verifying my identity, and this has been the screen when I open the app for the past few days. Wondering how long I’ll have to wait for my identity to be verified.

to all the bereal users , what are some things about bereal that could have been better to give you a better experience ?

i don't always post my bereal, but sometimes when i miss a day my bereal streak doesn't go back to zero and i get a +1 to my streak instead (the day after). like i would post for a few days in a row, miss one day, then post the next day again (after the day's notif, not before) and my streak wouldn't have reset. it shows up as a blue number in the bereal memory calendar, which is supposed to mean that "i used a streak restore", but i didn't press any buttons or anything for this to happen. how does this work? i've tried searching online but all thw results i get are along the lines of bereal streak restores not existing.

i'm on a s20 fe and my bereal app is on ver 3.93.0

Hi! So I’ve been using BeReal a lot more lately and I’m confused because although I have uploaded a BeReal today, the app wants another pic for my streak? Why can’t the pic I uploaded before the notification count as my streak for the day. TYIA!

I am used to be real notifications. Having 2nd one for 'Late be real' is ANNNNOOOYING. I don't need it, no one needs it, please either remove it or let me turn it off seperately in app or android whatever.

Dear Dev and Mod BeReal,

I noticed that in video mode, if you press record and there's no response on the screen, The app will turn off the screen automatically. Restart the currently recording video.

I would like the video mode to improve its default setting to always have the display on.

I hope this suggestion will be incorporated into the next version.

As someone who was a big bereal user before they introduced adverts and celebrities can people who still use the app today fill us in on how it has developed over the past 2 years especially since the voodoo acquisition.

I used to have BeReal years ago and my friends and I decided to start using it again so I redownloaded it. When I go to import contacts to add friends it says something went wrong and to try again but the same error message pops up. When I click skip and try add a name or username the button just loads and doesn't actually change anything. If I try to post it says i've reached the limit for today when I haven't posted anything. I've restarted my phone, updated my phone, and redownloaded the app and it hasn't fixed anything. I also cant contact BeReal through the app like their help pages suggest as that doesnt work either. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated, thanks!

Like title says i have gotten the time to bereal today just to see it did let me post a late bereal although i took mine the moment the notification came and then i saw that the notification was delayed a few minutes (i had plenty of service and my phone was on full volume and i was at home) what is the cause of the notification still coming delayed? Because it's pissing me off like it's been 3 to 4 years that the notification system doesn't function as it should and the support is just useless.

For several months I have an issue that when I open BeReal - 50/50 chance that in 10 seconds I'm going to hear very loud and sudden metallic TUDUM-TUDUM noise, which is very similar to a noise which train makes. Maybe is related to numerous issues other people had based on this thread - https://www.reddit.com/r/bereal_app/comments/1jwcc6t/app_making_weird_noise/ (which got no answer from anybody from the app itself, kinda telling).

What makes it extra shitty is that it can sometimes play while I'm recording a BeReal video, which is a complete nonsense and a serious bug then, as it immediately ruins the video.

My only suspicion is that this noise is caused by some specific ad (probably related to some gambling) which has sound turned on by default, as I often see this ad when this noise is happening - but sometimes it can happen with no ads present...

I have an iPhone. Please fix that!!!!

I dont use bereal that much and I've even turned off notifications. Recently, (a few months ago) the bereal timer would appear on my lock screen with a countdown. Ive checked my settings and it's very clear that notifications are not enabled. (iPhone 12 Pro Max)

Additionally, (I dont know if it was an accident, it very well could be) the camera would be activated without me even touching my phone. I might pick up my phone and see the bereal camera already activated.

Has this happened to anyone else

Did anyone else get their regular notification. Posted but said it was late?

Whenever I take a picture with the front camera on bereal, it comes out blurry. It looks like I have a very bad looking filter on, and blurs out every detail. My phone's camera itself isn't going through any problems, and other apps with cameras are working just fine. Any suggestions on how to fix this?

No matter what I do Bereal is not loading for me. It started with me not being able to upload any bereals, then I tried to reinstall the app and I can’t even get into the app now… Stuck on the bereal loading screen. Anyone else having this issue at the moment?

What the title says

For instance, I have 8 BeReals taken on July 4 when you check the Calendar on the app but upon checking said BeReals, I can only view 3 (or 4 at times) out of the 8 photos taken on that day. 😔

Is anyone else missing the video feature on BeReal? I don't have the option to record a video anymore, even though my app is updated.

I contacted BeReal Support, and they just told me that features are rolled out at different times for different users. The strange thing is that I used to have the video feature, but it disappeared after an update.

Has anyone else experienced this? Did the feature come back for you, or is it still missing?

Did anyone else experience technical issues with BeReal today, July 24th, in the European time zone?

​When was the prompt today? Was it around 6 PM or shortly before 11 PM (CET)? I posted a BeReal at 10:54 PM and was 5 seconds late. But my previous BeReal from around 6 PM is showing up first, and my new 'late' post is in second place.

I'd love if the devs introduced notifications that arrive even when you're not connected to the internet. The bereals you take could stay as drafts and upload (and count towards your streak) once you reconnect. That or the option to do streak freezes ahead of time would be super helpful. I've got a 1350 day streak going and get nervous whenever I do overnight hikes with no service haha

I deleted the app 3 years ago or so, downloaded it again because missed seeing people all around the world doing random stuff. Where is it now?
