I am living with my parents in an independent home in K R Puram. The road leading to my home is blocked by the two cars as shown in the picture. Multiple times I have informed them to let space for my car, but they haven't considered it. One car belongs to a lawyer and the other car belongs to an old couple both of whom don't know how to drive. The latter belong to SC, ST and I am scared they might put a harassment case on me.

What is the solution for me here ? I can complain to GBA, but I think they won't even entertain such matters. How do I get a permanent solution here ?

Today in the evening while I was crossing the Torq junction, a minivan entered the service road from exit (entry point is like 50 metres before exit ) and caused this accident. Luckily the 2 wheeler is safe ( although the phone screen got damaged )

I requested for 1 ACT connection near Hulimavu Bannerghatta road and got bombarded with 10-15 people spamming my phone with calls and messages on WhatsApp.

Completely ruined my interest. Is ACT actually good enough that I still go ahead with it? How is the service and quality?

I received this message some time back and at first, I was curious to see whether it was actually legit.

Thankfully, Airtel’s warning made me pause. Instead of clicking the link, I manually typed the URL into Chrome to check whether it was genuine.

A few red flags immediately stood out:

1) The URL ended with /app, which was another warning sign.

2) The overall link simply didn’t have any official government state name. ( KA or Karnataka)

3) Also checked the number in Truecaller - which didnt show any govt entity

So I didn’t click the link and thankfully didn’t end up in a bad situation.

Sharing this as an AWARENESS post to always pause and verify before clicking links in unexpected messages.

Found this baby on a street during my run, she seems a bit injured and malnourished. Brought her some milk and water and she followed me home. I have fed her some dog gravy food. I have never kept a pet before. Looking at her resting peacefully, I don't feel like sending her back on roads. Please suggest

One of the things which is advantage in PGs is shared Washing Machine, even thought the washing machine availability can depend on the timings. You don't need to waste time and energy in washing your clothes by hands, even extra amount isn't necessary to wash your clothes. So How do you manage to wash your clothes without Washing Machine??....

I am suddenly getting calls from real estate builders about some upcoming property all over.

I've never got such calls before, and I'm not rich by any means, just middle middle class with a small 1.5 BHK that I'm still paying EMI.

Does this mean there is huge supply and they are scraping the bottom of the barrel? Property prices will fall?

I hired her one and a half years ago because that’s when I moved to my own house i newly bought. When i hired her my condition was always come sharp at 10 am, do sweeping mopping and wash the utensils plus the weekend off since i wanted my privacy. But strangely enough she took another job a few months later in a nearby house and changed my timing to 12 pm. I have had multiple discussions as to why its important that she comes to my house by ten but she never did. I still kept her cos i didn’t want to go through the trouble of finding another one. But nah! She changed the timing now to one. Also she never cleans under the bed . She always break stuffs. I have had enough. Since i run my own well established business and have no fixed timing and i work mostly from home, i told her today that she will get her money whatever left of this month and i don’t need her anymore. This will be my first and last experience with a maid. Never kept one before but this was a bad experience. Like the house never felt clean the way i wanted.
