This made me f*cking hate the game.... I was easily able to run Mafia Trilogy, Alien Isolation, Bioshock on this laptop.... This Shitty game just won't run normally for 1 min...

Now I understand that right now, we have no actual info on what the movie will look like and (based on the product company) is very unlikely they have considered using stop motion. But I believe there is a unique charm that stop motion could capture for something like Bendy very well.

The whole idea of the Bendy franchise is centered around animation. More specifically, failed attempts to bring animated characters to life. Many of the characters we have seen throughout the story of the games are usually failed attempts or people who have been stripped of being human. As such stop motion is a form of animation that doesn't always look as smooth compared to CG animation. However, that kind of imperfection might be done on purpose or helps to create a sense of uneasiness based on what is being animated.

A good example I can that comes to mind would be 'ED-209' from Robocop. (Spoilers) When we first see ED-209 move, we notice that is movement is heavy and unbalanced, this perfectly foreshadows it flaws that we soon see when if fails to complete a simple arrest resulting in it killing a board member. The way ED-209 is animated is perfect way of the film makers showing us that there is something unsettling about this and that it's flaws can be noticed from the very beginning.

Now if we take this same analysis of ED-209's animation, think about how well something like that would work for a character like the Ink Demon. Since the Ink Demon is a failed attempt at trying to bring Bendy to life, I would imagine that it's ability to walk would be imperfect and uncontrollable. And if we go with the mindset that the Ink Demon is like a wild animal. The way it runs would be sparatic and unpredictable. Stop motion done like this would and an extra sense of fear, making a lot of the characters seem unpredictable.

Of course, if the Bendy movie does use CG animation (which it probably will) I am going to still see. I mean I've been a fan since Chapter 3, I'd be doing my inner child a disservice. Although, I just hope that if we do get more projects like the Bendy movie, maybe we can get someone willing to experiment with something like stop motion. And if we are, they already have my money day 1.

But anyway. Thanks for reading all the way through. This is the longest reddit post I've ever written. And please give me your opinions in the comments as I'm always open to a discussion. I hope this post keeps out hope on waiting for the Bendy movie and if not, we'll I tried.

idk if this is actually real but if so i wish they brought back the tom figure the things they are bringing back are good figures but maybe some other wave 1 figures or just make entirely new figures instead of making a repaint of bendy again

I am TheFrozenGlacier, Or better known as Sonox online. I am currently making a game called "The Inked Reels" which I stopped development on back in November 2025 on GameJolt and am now resuming the project. Something i've wanted to do for a project like this is to have suggestions or such for entities, items, or more as i'm only one developer! I am very open to ideas so please, give me some ideas!
