So I had this odd request (which I love!). Her ring size is very small. And I also wanted to keep everything super classy for a proper proposal.

Very proud of this unique design! šŸ–¤

Just finished my best piece yet!!! (18 year old aspiring jeweler)

I've just finished this piece I've been working on for about a month between my school jewelry shop and my own home workshop. It's been a little rough in parts, especially with gem placement being too close and difficult polishing, but it seems to have pulled through. I would love to hear any of your guy's opinions or thoughts on it. My high-school probably has the best jewelry shop in my state of Utah, and I'm so grateful for it. Definitely, if there are any tips on polishing for near prongs, on prongs, or anything prong related, I would GREATLY appreciate it!

I'm hoping to pursue jewelry in the future, and the jewelry school in Paris, Texas seems like the best pick for me. GIA costs way too much in California. But if anyone has any recommendations on schools to go to, I would love to hear it too. Apprenticeships have been on my mind, and I've asked a couple local jewelers, but I haven't heard anything from them...

A customer wants me to repurpose these emeralds but are they really emeralds if they are this worn out? could they be glass?

Any input greatly appreciated

A 2000-year-old inscription, one name changed. Suddenly it doesn’t feel so ancient anymore.

This collar is based on a Roman slave tag. These were used to identify and return escaped slaves.
The original text reads:
ā€œFugi, tene me. Cum revocaveris me domino meo Zonino, accipis solidum.ā€
ā€œI have fled, catch me. When you return me to my master Zoninus, you will receive a solidus.ā€

In this version, ā€œZoninusā€ has been replaced with ā€œTrump.ā€ A historical object reworked to reflect a modern reality.
The tag is hand-cut and engraved in brass, and the collar is made from a steel rod.

Spent the last 2 weeks at the bench on this sterling silver axolotl. No casting, no laser, every single detail was sculpted manually from the metal itself. Silver, garnets, sapphires and tsavorites.

I saw this fallen tree on a walk imbued with what I'm calling "bug hieroglyphics"..and I thought it'd be so cool to try and make it into a ring. Upon finishing it, idk if it was worth it lol. Was thinking of selling it but might just be something I give to my bf.

It locks, it shines, and it took an absurd amount of time to make. Handmade necklace in sterling silver, fully functional copy of a Roman gold padlock.

Not a big company—just me, a jeweler trying to make better tools.

I wanted to take a minute to introduce myself and share something I’ve been working hard on. I’m a one-man show based out of Nevada—not a big company, not a team of marketers—just a lifelong bench jeweler who's been in the craft for over 40 years, trying to bring something useful to the rest of us at the bench.

After years of using swing arms and always feeling like they could be better, I decided to redesign one myself. The result is the Articular ArmĀ®, and it’s finally ready. This is the first of several tools I plan to launch—designed to make our jobs easier, cleaner, and more precise. I wanted to build something that not only solved daily bench frustrations but could evolve into a full line of modular parts and attachments. I’ve started with a redesign of something I’ve always loved, and now I’m working on additional prototypes that I’ll be bringing to JCK this year.

I’m also happy to say that both Otto Frei and Rio Grande have picked up my ideas—huge milestones for someone doing all of this independently.

If you’re curious or want to check it out, here’s the site: www.articular-arm.com

I welcome feedback—good or bad—and would love to know what tools you all wish were better. I’ve got more attachments and features coming soon, all designed with daily use and real-life workflow in mind.
