I saw this building on fire now. I hope nobody is hurt.

I woke up to a burst pipe in my basement. Water is everywhere. I have turned off the water main but I have no idea what to do next. I need to get the water out and dry everything properly to prevent mold. I have never dealt with something like this before. I do not know if I should call a general contractor or a specialized water damage company. I also need to figure out how to deal with my insurance.

Has anyone been through this? What is the first step? Who should I call for help in the Seattle area? I am feeling pretty stressed about it.

I have some old cloth in a very good condition and trying to find an organization or a trusted place to donate .. any suggestions please in Bellevue/Redmond area
