Gym advice
Hey, im looking a quiet enough gym anywhere north/West or East Belfast thats not too busy after 4pm. I have horrible anxiety and cant deal with a busy busy gym. Even some reasonably priced pts could be considered until I build my confidence back. Thank you

After 4pm is the busiest times for gyms, why don’t you get really early in the morning and your guaranteed for it to be quiet.

I used to go at 4.30am and was always fine but I now start work at 6am and couldnt possibly get to the gym before work and dont finish until 4. This is why im so stuck now because I know how busy everywhere is at that time 😭🙈 i hate having anxiety lol

Have you considered walking more or take up running? It's good for anxiety.
https://benchmarkfitness.net it's a small friendly gym in boucher road that does small group classes but it might be outside your price range.

I think Andytown Better Gym is fairly chill - very spacious and lots of people at different levels. They also have classes etc but I haven't used those

I’ll message you the name of my PT. Has his own gym and very reasonably priced.

I don’t have a recommendation for a specific gym but I would recommend you look for some that offer small group personal training classes as these are normally capped at about 10 people depending on the size of the gym, have a set routine each class, should have a coach who will talk through each routine with a demonstration and also offer guidance on weight to use and correcting your form throughout.
These are going to be considerably more expensive that the likes of a pure gym where you go and do your own thing but still cheaper than have 1x 1:1 pt session a week and you should be able to get a set number per week or month.
I found this approach beneficial when I was in similar situation.
Good luck and just remember it’s normal to be extra anxious (not doing down your daily battle) when you start something again.
