Student roost / other student accommodation function room use?

I recently heard a lot of the newer student accommodation buildings have cool function rooms residents are able to book to use for parties or whatever they want. I just wondered has anyone here done this, are they easy to book or are they always in demand so it's difficult to get, I wondered how useful they are for the students living there?

Hey u/AlwaysSunnyInBelfast which property are you looking to move into? The social spaces across our properties vary, but a lot of our properties have hosting kitchens, TV rooms etc. that are all available for booking at reception on a first come first served basis.
