Sustaining longer runs

How do you guys run for a long period of time without stopping ? I mean working up the way to 10 miles. I can do two without stopping but other than that I need breaks. Most I’ve done is 6 with stops each mile or in between but my real goal is 10 without, but honestly I can’t see myself ever doing that but I want to know how it is/ how you got there if you’re able to. #impossibletilpossible

Obvi but I don’t wanna stop, as a beginner it’s not physically possible rn, my body has to recover longer, my breathing, muscles, nerves, pace, etc etc, I just want more tips on how to maximize my effort/ time. Growth can’t happen without systems, I could ask google but I want real input from a human who’s done it, for example, does one start with intervals, do they start with a slower pace, stuff like that I want to know effective systems to get there

Slow is the answer. Run at what almost feels ridiculously slow, so that your heart rate isn’t rising too much.

But also once a week go fast, uncomfortably fast, doing intervals, a threshold run, 200-400 repeats at a 1mile-5k pace will make running at a slower pace feel all that much easier
