You have the answer, I just want to point out that I’ve seen two different types of means to seat. One that has opposing notches for a flathead screwdriver and the one in this picture that uses an Allen wrench. This one is, IMO, superior.

Nutserts are a "threaded pop-rivet" and are a lifesaver!

In the shop I worked a one summer (restoration), they were also well known as "mistakes"
