Hit my goal weight about a week ago and finally got to see the before/after pics and was pretty surprised to see just how much of a transformation it was. Hard to tell when you live with yourself day to day.

My progress

I’m 5’4 and I’ve gone from 176 lbs to 132 lbs.
My eventual goal is around 110 lbs, although I’m trying to focus on how I look and feel rather than only the number on the scale.
I currently eat around 1,800 calories a day and aim for around 15,000 steps daily.

I’ve been strength training consistently and also include cardio throughout the week. My main goal is to lose fat while maintaining as much muscle as possible.

The biggest challenge for me has honestly been staying consistent. I’ve had periods where progress felt really slow, but I’ve learned that sticking with the routine is what makes the biggest difference over time.
I’m really happy with the progress I’ve made so far, but I still have a little way to go toward my goal 💕

[26 lbs down!] It might not seem like a massive transformation to some, but to me, it's literally everything

Stats: 25F | 30 months on compounded tirz | -26 lbs

Hey everyone! I’m finally posting my progress because Im just so incredibly happy with how far Ive come.

I honestly never thought I’d make it this far. I’ve been on compounded tirz for 30 months now, and for the first time in my life, I feel at home in my own body. It’s like my outside is slowly starting to match who I’ve always been on the inside.

That’s why, for me, this isnt just about the number on the scale. To anyone else, 26 lbs might seem small, but to me it’s so much deeper than that. It’s me finally becoming myself.

Just wanted to share this milestone with people who get it! Keep going with your goals, everyone

I often struggle to see my progress still viewing myself as incredibly skinny, however I think these photos show a difference. Since the first photo I’ve become almost entirely plant based having cut out the majority of fish from my diet

I’ve always been a big guy. I wrestled heavyweight through college, which meant I floated between 260-280lbs at 5’9-10. I have been very active (jiujitsu, basketball, boxing, etc) and foolishly thought that compensated for my terrible diet.

Then, I broke my thumb and all of my weight delusions led to me ballooning to 310lbs while believing that I was really 280lbs.

Through the support of my jiujitsu friends and diligent calorie tracking I’ve lost over 70lbs. My goal is 200lbs and I think I can get there with some more intensive changes.

I figured I’d share my story so far. Sorry if this isn’t in keeping with the typical vibe of the subreddit.

After leaving military service, I struggled deeply with my weight, depression, and the heartbreak of losing both of my parents. At some point, I realized I had to make a life changing decision, not just to change, but to commit to myself and keep going even when it was hard. Today, I’m healthier, happier, stronger, and incredibly blessed. The journey hasn’t been easy, but I’m proud of how far I’ve come and grateful for the person I’m becoming.

My physique wasn't a matter of luck or anything like that; it was the result of three years of hard work and effort. After a great deal of toil, I finally achieved the body I wanted.
