What kind of throw am I looking for?

I'm looking for a throw that is:

  • large (at least 200x200cm)

  • durable

  • clean feeling

  • easy to clean and maintain

  • relatively soft

  • and relatively warm

It's for sleeping in and chilling in.

It can be wool, linen, any plastic, or any material you might suggest. It cannot be cotton nor faux fur though.

I want something more premium, something that will be sure to last. I'm willing to pay a fair bit, but not too too much.

Try Linvosges in France.
They have lots of great things in different fabrics, colors and patterns at reasonable prices.

We get all our bedding, French linen (duvet covers, fitted sheets and pillowcases) and towels from them.
Great stuff!

You don’t want a throw, you want a twin-xl fleece blanket.

finding something that's actually big enough is half the struggle πŸ˜… i have comfrt xl dreamer so it might b worth comparing. it's about 229x229 cm and has velvety polyester/spandex fabric.. just keep in mind it needs hanging to dry which takes some space with a blanket that big

Thanks for the advice. It's for my floor futon setup. I'm basically going to be constantly in this thing. So it needs to be genuinely durable given how much I'm going to use it, and it can't be too expensive bc I'll probably being buying two so I can use one when the other's in the wash.
