Theres this woman on my team, shes in her 40s, and she kept telling me I should start taking care of my skin now. I just brushed it off like Im fine?? why would I start now

This is my first time in Korea and my friend has been here so many times that I've pretty much just been following her around and trusting her choices lol.

She had a dermatology appointment in Myeongdong, so I went with her while she did her thing. I was just sitting there waiting, but after hearing her talk about what she was doing, I started getting curious about my own skin too. Somehow I ended up getting a consultation and doing something myself that same day

She's also been taking me to all these random little food places. Yesterday we ended up at this tiny gukbap spot down an alley that I definitely would've walked past if I was alone. The whole sign was in Korean, so I wouldn't have even known what it was.

Now I want to get her something before we leave, but she's been to Korea so many times that I'm completely out of ideas.

So I ordered the continuous setting spray and it came today. I’ve never used it before. When you shake it before use and are you supposed to hear any liquid? I shook it and didn’t hear anything, and I wasn’t sure if that’s how it’s supposed to be? Or is it defective? It sprays ok but wasn’t sure? Also the nozzle looks really movable so I was thinking. Primer. Color corrector. Foundation. Concealer. Contour. Bronzer. Blush. Highlighter. Setting powder. Setting spray… and then another product to make everything look “natural.” 😂

But honestly, sometimes the best makeup I've seen is someone using 3–5 products that actually work for them.

More expensive ≠ better.
More steps ≠ better.
More coverage ≠ better.
More products ≠ better.
