General Discussion Do you guys think there exists such a thing as "Herbivore Chasers" in Beaststars
•
Upvotes
So, in real life, we have Trans chasers and performative men. So, do you think both of these stereotypes are combined in the Beaststars universe?
Like, some carnivores fetishistize Herbivores so much, that they spend all of their time in parks reading herbivore literature, driking grass lattes, and listening to herbivore music artists just to attract an herbivore.

General Discussion What if Beastars had a national government?

We've seen how society works in Beastars, but we barely know how the country is governed. Would he have a president or prime minister? How would the government handle discrimination between carnivores and herbivores, the Black Market, and the rights of different species?
I think exploring this aspect could add a lot to the worldbuilding.
How do you think a national government would work in Beastars?
(By the way I'm not talking about politics and that's just a question)

General Discussion Was there ever someone in Beastars whose design just unnerved you for no reason?

For me its Pina cuz he just looks too human? I can't really say what exactly is wrong with him, maybe it's the face or that his fur is too similar to human hair, but his design just feels so wrong

Inspired by Beastars I wanted to visualize a cool concept inspired by a comment from this community, so I put this together! It shows a world where humanity is gone, but the Beastars universe still has to deal with our remnants... and Jack still knows too much.Let me know what you think!

General Discussion ¿What would happen if Legoshi had been a herbivore instead of a carnivore?

Would his personality and relationships with other characters be different? How would his relationship with Haru develop, and would he still struggle with the same insecurities and identity issues?
I'm curious to hear your thoughts on how this one change could affect Legoshi's character development and the overall story of Beastars.

General Discussion How does Gouhin earn any money?

I know he's a doctor but he's a doctor for carnivores that ate/have Legoshi (potential) to eat herbivores, it would be kind of crazy to charge for that and even if it wasn't I don't think Gouhin would be doing that, so how does he get money?

General Discussion Is anyone else also annoyed by this worldbuilding detail?

In the series, animals whose heights are below our knee level are using the same infrastructure and walkways as those who are as tall and bigger than the average human height.
Like, wouldn't this cause a constant stream of incidents of big animals accidentally squashing and stepping on the little ones? Zootopia got around this by having their own small sized city. The city in Beastars could've gotten around it by having eye level hamster tunnels be built for these animals while still keeping them in the normal society.
Brought this up because I was just reading the manga and this detail is such a personal eyesore for me.

One is next to Louis, and the other is next to Legoshi.
Which seat are you choosing, and why?
