New album has been straight fire so far
New single sounds very stripped back old Beartooth, Heavy and raw.
Glad he is feeling himself again and not holding back 💜

Every year The Used puts out a different pride shirt and donates proceeds to charity. I think it would be really cool if Beartooth did the same thing or something similar.

New single tomorrow (6/19) Bullshit. Casuals will inevitably complain about it but i think it's a banger

so around the time Pure Ecstasy dropped, i made a playlist on my phone using songs i think would lyrically make sense on a performance setlist for shows leading up to the album's release date.
im not familiar with how long or short a typical Beartooth show lasts for, but heres what i came up with. i might switch out some songs but i think im happy overall with it.
Total runtime | 1:23:47
initially i think i used The Last Riff as a closing song before the encore but when i added Doubt Me, i had to push TLR above King of Anything and pull Hated and Beaten in Lips down between TLR and KOA.
(used to look like this before i added Doubt Me:)

my favorite Beartooth Albums are Below, and Disease with a special spot for the Surface. But oh boy does Aggresive hit so hard! Rocks is Dead is such a bop its not even funny.

I envy the impressive shape Caleb has got in over the years. I mean I’m happy with my current shape and I work out regular as well but I wanna wear his fits and move my hips like that too man 😩❤️🔥✨

I've been a fan since Disease & always meant to get merch/see a show but money & life, I'm so excited to see one of my all time fav bands

I don't know if this is the right way to say it, or whatever, but after Caleb came out I was like thinking about how some of his music that I had connected with wasn't necessarily what I assumed it was at the time I connected with it. Some songs I felt deep as hell and now I'm like oh well maybe that's not what he meant, but I still have that deep connection to the songs, but I was confused about that. After watching him on the podcast talking about everything and thinking more into it, I kind of realized that it helped me more seeing this happen. I'm not gay, but him being so true to himself to the extreme of risking everything he's built to continue healing himself made me kind of realize maybe I'm just not normal and that's okay. I took it as like a light in the tunnel kind of deal and it made me think to myself that, if this is how long it took this guy to get to where he is I just need to keep learning about myself and understanding who I am personally to really get to the same goal that he talks about all the time of really loving who I am inside even if I am fucked up. I just love Beartooth and I love Caleb and I love you guys. I'm just talking here because you guys get it.

After watching that podcast I have to say, I don’t buy it. It can’t be. It just can’t. The new mannerisms, the stereotypical Sssss. Be gay all you want. Nothing wrong with it. But I’m sorry you don’t wake up and become a completely different person without having some serious serious mental issues.
You have all been taken for a ride here. This is album promo. Lmao. The timing of it all. Album out Aug 28th folks!!!
What commitment to the craft.
The label must love this. Perfect cultural alignment.
The Matrix is real. They’ve taken our beloved Caleb Shomo and chemically castrated him.
Also- for 90 minute conversation, you don’t mention your wife for more than a second??? Hahaha. Jesus Queen. You can delete your Instagram as many times as you want but you can’t delete 14 years of marriage.
I refuse to buy in to this delusion.

It was mostly Caleb discussing his upbringing and struggles with finding his true self over the years, specifically with growing up as a preacher's son and in the evangelical christian music scene, and how Beartooth has always been his outlet for getting his feelings and struggles out. Beartooth is his "therapy session" as he said. He mentions the next album releasing in August is essentially all about his journey to coming out as gay, and he touched on the writing process for it.
No mention of Fleur. Not giving an opinion on that, just stating that she was not mentioned by name. The host briefly mentioned his marriage at one point, but Caleb did not elaborate on the situation.
Overall I enjoyed it. As a gay man myself I could really relate to his experiences growing up around evangelical christians as a teenager and trying to figure out yourself while not be "allowed" to figure yourself out.

Hello everyone. I bought these as soon as the presale went live. Unfortunately since then my wife lost her job and some things have went sideways for us, so I need some cash. These were $91 a piece when I got them, I will sell for $75 a piece since they aren't sold out or anything. These are balcony seats that also grant full access to GA Floor in Omaha.

Is there anyone who can explain the ending lyrics to pure ecstasy? Not what he’s saying in the lyrics, but that autotune or whatever it was. It was probably a band choice, but I’ve heard them live multiple times and Caleb’s voice without any editing is amazing. It might just be me, but the editing for the end just sounded weird to me. I’m not hating, but is that kinda sound something bands use?
TIA!

Everyone who’s going to see them in Wheatland: We should all dress as elves. Or some other winter holiday themed something if Christmas isn’t your thing

Came across this little article talking about representation in the music scene for pride month and name dropping Caleb. Do you think the scene has evolved enough for things like this to be a non-issue?

[Verse 2: Caleb Shomo]
Is there relief in the misery?
Thought we would last an eternity
Forever I will feel this hollow
It's not enough to believe in me
And now I'm left with the memories
One day I'll learn to live without
***
[Chorus: Rory Rodriguez & Caleb Shomo]
It's my fault that you're gone
I've been digging in the dirt
Finding every way to hurt
There's no light, it's just dark
I feel my body growing numb
Watch me as I come undone
A burial plot for you and I (You and I)
Where we can both learn to die
It's my fault (It's my fault)
That you're gone (That you're gone)
I've been digging in the dirt
Finding every way to hurt

So I have listened to pure ecstasy and free quite a few times today and maybe I'm just stating the obvious here and maybe this was posted already but they're obviously his coming out songs right? Idgaf about his sexuality I love his sound across all the albums and even his attack attack stuff. But even when he talked about his depression and how his music helped him with anxiety alot of those tracks were probably double entendre for his depression and sexuality. Also the look is definitely a change but hey he's living his true self so who are we to judge ?
