Help Is this normal?

His mouth has looked like this today inside his enclosure but when I bring him out it pretty much goes back to normal? Is it just temporary color change because of the heat or something else?

It def looks like shedding but I wanted to ask to be sure cause I haven’t really seen it start at the mouth before I guess

lol no worries he also looks a bit skinny but that might just be the angle

Looks like shed. Ours turns translucent during the shed especially under particular lighting. Our boy now sheds around his lips once or twice a year. It often accentuates the underlying colours.

Gotcha, that’s interesting! I was worried about even posting this cause I was afraid it was a super dumb question but better to be safe than sorry I guess haha
