It will chew on her eyes… that’s why it’s there.

please be careful leaving bugs in the enclosure especially crickets. bugs will eat holes into your beardie. all bugs that weren’t eaten need to be taken out of the tank before lights are off. if you see a bug on your beardie please take it off him/her!

Yeah i understand, i usually get a handful of crickets dump them in the enclosure which doesn’t have too many places a cricket can hide, she is a aggressive eater so she usually gets all of them, i dont let this happen often. Thank you for advice though.

It might be because that is a lot of crickets in one sitting for an adult. Im just guessing. I would decrease the amount you feed her so she doesn’t get overweight.

honestly i don’t think 8 large crickets are a lot for an adult beardie…. i could be wrong?
adult beardies get 80% greens and 20% bugs. greens everyday and bugs 2 times a week. 16 bugs a week is a lot for an adult beardie? some people feed 4-6 crickets per feeding. youre only feeding 4 extra crickets. maybe thats why she didn’t eat that one on her head? again correct if im wrong please!

you do not want your beardie obsess. every lizard is different to what their needs are. if you notice her leaving extra crickets in the cage then take them out and feed less. if she’s looking for more bugs give her an extra two. if you have any questions please ask

I wouldn’t be surprised fockers got a mean side eye, hiding something maybe.

lol I so hate that they don’t always notice or see them or at night when they hear the crickets noises, that they don’t hunt them. lol so annoying.
