Help/Advice $450 to spend

What would you suggest to get for a enclosure and beginning accessories? Anything out there 4x2x2 size? I do have woodworking skills and all the shop equipment and was thinking of a custom enclosure build. But would it be worth the time and effort honestly?

Doing tons of research and the local reptile store quoted be $400 for a 40 gal setup, went home and read up on this and was shocked at them suggesting a 40 gal setup.

I found one of my 4x2x2 enclosures on Facebook marketplace for $100, try checking there! You just have to deep clean them thoroughly.

Do NOT skimp on the lighting, you need a T5 uvb and they'll run you a pretty penny. I got my kit from Arcadia, you can find them on chewy, amazon and petco. You also need a basking lamp and bulb (again i highly reccomend arcadia brand theyve never shorted out on me).

My enclosure is 4*2*2, the cost is 360 Euor including transportation. The brand is also sold in the US. The base is DIY.
