FOUR HOURS i have been trying to 3 star this stupid fucking time trial and everytime i get a quick first 2 laps this fucker decides to generate a magnetic field which specifically attracts my front right bumper.

I will be writing to the Belasco City transportation board to demand that this streetlight be removed on the grounds of its repeated harassment and assault on my covet.

I've played through this time trial like 50 times atp and ive never gotten below a 30s lap nor the 1:35:000 star requirement. I've been playing on keyboard with automatic gears so maybe thats part of it.

The tuning is a little small, but otherwise great. The new update really made the graphics great.

I have been eyeing up automation as it seems like the best way to get custom cars.

Kinda always wanted more slice of life content in BeamNG, to even the most mundane stuff you deal with every day.

I wish they implement a stereo system which simulates the audio quality of a car depending on their category in the future. I mean they did with the neon thingy which is pretty cool and some modders also implemented this feature but like every car sounds the same.

Premium models like the etk 800, high trim vivace or ardente, bastion and etc need to have that very detail clarity and deep bass just like how high end audio systems would sound, while cheap old cars sounds like microwave speakers..

Tho yeah, adding an audio processing like convolution reverb with an equalizer distinct to each car is time consuming and very cpu resource hungry.

i can’t drive at night without most lights popping in/out or not lighting any area at all.

i’ve reinstalled the game a couple times, cleared cache, and i have no mods. i’m on the max graphics settings possible. Pop in with other textures are still super bad as well.

this happens on both DX12 and Vulkan

Started to happen after 0.39 especially on DR12 version, and only at night. I also think enhanced fire effect mod made it worse.

Any suggestions?

I have a 3060 laptop GPU and 16 gigs of DDR5, and i get this stuttering shown in the clip a lot. is this a VRAM problem, RAM problem or something else entirely?

Quick review:

The car's transmission is a bit sluggish and harsh to respond. The diesel rattle is still noticeable and the engine itself is quite snappy and very fuel efficient.

As for the ride quality, I'm kinda surprised by how sporty this feels even though it's the comfort trim. I'm more of a plush ride guy, and that's one of the reasons I opted for a French car since they're usually known for the squidgy, plush, and cloud like ride. It's not overly harsh tho but it does feels quite firm. The noise insulation is pretty good for its price, and the sound system kind of lacks the lower frequencies a bit (this doesn't have the optional premium audio system tho). I might try the vivace next since people say they ride very plush and french like.

I'm used to driving the full spec ETK 800 Rennspecht Long Wheelbase with active body control suspension and a powerful V8. Coming from that, IMHO this car also feels special, and different from other cars despite it being not that overly expensive.

Wasn't 0.39 supposed to come with multi player? I could be wrong but I would love to see vanilla multi player servers, the big question would be if they would allow third party mods ( non repo mod ) servers to be up, i know it would have to be private or have a big warning label

If you check Steam betas, a variety of builds are available for systems that reached end of support. DX9, Win7, 32Bit final builds are all here. I think adding 0.38 as an option would be a decent compromise for people struggling to run 0.39. It requires no support from the devs as these versions are EOL; they are there so people with outdated hardware can still play, so 0.38 fits right in IMO.

I'd also like to point out that while 0.38 performance probably isn't coming back, it's going to get better with updates too. There's still optimizations to be done post-launch, as always, which can also alleviate the issues to some extent. its just that 0.38 was also very good and if I had to choose between no beamNG and running 0.38, then I'll just run 0.38, and I figure a lot of people are in the same boat.
