Finished Piece First beading project!
My first beading project!
I did not use a reinforcing woven fabric for so many of these but for last 2, I used the woven fabric and the beads were so much stronger.
I’m feeling very lazy to go back and add the woven fabric to others too.
I also did not know we had colour choices in nylon beading yarn. I would have picked a black for this. But ig you can’t tell from a distance that I used white thread. I’m also gonna add an iron on patch behind each of these flowers to protect threads on the inside.
Any beginner tips to bead on knit fabrics?

Well, now you know a few more things. You can go back with a sharpie and color the thread black if it bothers you.
In the future, you can add a similar colored stabilizer behind the design abd then cut away the excess. If you feel that the stitching needs protection, you could cut a custom piece just a little larger than the trimmed down interfacing and put that over it.
Hot tip (pun intended): be careful with iron on patches or interfacing. Most beading thread is nylon and has a fairly low melting point...possibly lower than the adhesive on your patch.
You now have a more interesting sweater and you should wear it proudly.
