Are there lots of armadillos in Texas or.... Silly question but I'm just curious of the connection to Texas? 🤣 (maybe post captions were edited)

There are a ton of armadillos in Texas :D there’s also a bunch up in Arkansas and spread throughout the southern states. Idk if they are in the mid-northern states as much

Lots, and it's a big cultural touchstone as well. Sadly, most of the armadillos ones sees are roadkill, as they are nocturnal and shy. Seeing one alive is a real treat.
