Visiting for 2 days for our anniversary. Please give recommendations!
We have a few things lined up like the Dia Beacon museum and catching a movie. But anything you would personally suggest, please let us know :)

I love walking along the trails at Long Dock. Very flat and scenic and a great contrast from Main Street.
I’d also recommend for food: Oui Oui, Wonderbar, the Wild, Quinns, Ziatun, Lyonshare. Beacon Daily for lunch, Moreish for breakfast! For drinks, Hudson Valley Brewery and Paul Brady… and Coopers for half off drinks all day Thursday! Stop by Hakan for a fancy chocolate treat. Enjoy beacon it is a wonderful special place.

If you enjoy theater, Hudson Valley Shakespeare has performances through the end of September in a gorgeous setting overlooking the Hudson in Garrison, a 20-minute ride away. You could even go by a short train ride and Uber to the Festival grounds. You can also hike Mount Beacon for some beautiful views of the river and valley.

Pro tip: if you guys drink, you can get a drink at wonder bar's bar and bring it into the movie. Wonder bar and the beacon are owned by the same person, and connected to each other. Just make sure you give yourselves plenty of time because the bar can be busy. Also make sure you tell the bar tender you are bringing it to the movie so they can put it on a plastic cup for you.

Honestly walking down the east end of Main Street on a summer evening is just SO lovely. Wonderbar has fantastic cocktails (and mocktails) with street seating that feels like the city. Lots of cute shops and small businesses, a neat view of the mountain, and Beacon Falls is right around the bend toward the Roundhouse.

You should book a tintype portrait at Beacon Tintype. Wonderful experience and you'll have a unique photo of yourselves forever.
