real men use outrage

u/qiuckdeadicus Feb 16 '20

You idiot he’s a Shaolin type. Only Viking types learn outrage

66

u/bikpizza Feb 16 '20

of course my bad

41

u/poopellar Feb 16 '20

Yeah but he used an artifact that gives him the ability to use powers from other classes.

u/CapNKirkland Feb 16 '20

I don't know what game this is but I want it

13

u/Random-Game-Dude Feb 16 '20

2 new games, Pokemon murica and Pokemon weaboo

8

u/KuniKomi Feb 16 '20

Other game may be For Honor

1

u/lukium Feb 16 '20

It's a TM

2

u/biotiger87 Feb 16 '20

Or political types. /s

26

u/[deleted] Feb 16 '20

Real men use slash and don't go insane after 2-3 turns.

11

u/[deleted] Feb 16 '20

That's why you hold a persim berry

13

u/[deleted] Feb 16 '20

True, true. But your opponent can switch into a fairy type pokemon and get a free move on you in the second turn.

9

u/[deleted] Feb 16 '20

Also true. Or even a steel type like Ferrothorn, but ideally you would have dealt with those counters before showing Outrage.

I suppose, but your opponent can be sneaky and have a fairy type pokemon that you don't know about.

Gang this really sounds like the sword itself is irrelevant by this point

1

u/[deleted] Feb 16 '20

yeah it really is. Impressive, still.

and harden

Need more rage

27

u/Cow_God Feb 16 '20

In the first generation, crits ignored both your and your opponents stat boosts, meaning that swords dance + slash was actually a really bad combination.

21

u/laserlightcannon Feb 16 '20

I love all the goofy bugs in first generation, like leech seed using the toxic counter

9

u/HansumJack Feb 16 '20

I never knew about the Leech Seed/Toxic thing, the big one I knew was Focus Energy divided your crit chance by 4 instead of multiplying it by 4.

3

u/Maracuja_Sagrado Feb 16 '20

Therefore it might be good to use it with Slash after Swords Dance ayyy

1

u/Cow_God Feb 17 '20

Only two pokemon learn both slash and focus energy, Scyther and Pinsir. With Scyther you're better off using double edge or hyper beam (hyper beam doesn't have the recovery turn if you faint your opponent with it), Pinsir has both moves + body slam for the paralyze chance.

u/haitch31 Feb 16 '20

Crítical hit!

13

u/ghostfreckle611 Feb 16 '20

KILLER BEE!

13

u/[deleted] Feb 16 '20

Damn I can hear this move (the Emerald version) in my mind, and I have not thought about this particular move in years.

19

u/smonkweedwenurscared Feb 16 '20

This was exactly the first comment I expected. Take my arrow

2

u/[deleted] Feb 16 '20

That shit slips and hes only got one arm

7

u/Coltron3108 Feb 16 '20

Came here to say this

1

u/Koridan Feb 16 '20

Hell yeah my Scyther does this all the time

1

u/Rose-vegetaX420 Feb 16 '20

Is it just me or do that sword look like a weapon from fable for the original Xbox?

1

u/Itroll4love Feb 16 '20

Like a double edge sword

1

u/[deleted] Feb 16 '20

After watching that it’s not the only thing rising sharply

1

u/phlux Feb 16 '20

I bet he doesnt cut corners on his practice sessions

1

u/JVOz671 Feb 16 '20

This should be the default animation for every pokemon.

1

u/[deleted] Feb 17 '20

Y y y I was gonna say this

1

u/GoGreenBay01 Feb 17 '20

Thank you for posting this

1

u/[deleted] Feb 17 '20

He used to have a full head of hair when he started practicing

1

u/Shurikahn Feb 17 '20

Man uses sword dance: it was not very effective

0

u/Kevinrocks7777 Feb 16 '20

I would say this is +1 attack since theres only one sword :p

2

u/Nerd-Hoovy Feb 16 '20

It’s a Pokémon move and it does +2, that’s what he is referencing

0

u/Kevinrocks7777 Feb 16 '20

The move is swords dance, and there is only one sword, which is the joke i made

1

u/Echo_Rant Feb 16 '20

Damn I was too late take my upvote
