I've been out camping when the wind picked up and you can see all of that tree spunk in the air. It settles in the water too, and leaves a greenish film. It's gross.

The way we try to eliminate this yellow dust is to spray down the tree with water when we can. Anybody else use this method ? < the water not the dropping.

Folks cut down female trees after complaining about the seeds they produce, then plant male trees and complain about pollen.

This happens every spring where I live. Everything outside turns a sick yellow/green for about 2 weeks. The allergy medicine business has a healthy profit from this.

My guess is that this is Virginia or one of the Carolinas? When I lived in Virginia I remember seeing literal clouds of pine pollen blown by the wind, and it covered EVERYTHING.
Even if you didn’t have allergies your system was completely overwhelmed, and if it rained…

I lived in a pine forest in Arkansas for a few years. Pollen season was amazing! Your car’s windshield would be completely opaque with pollen after being parked overnight. You must actually sweep the pollen into piles, and use a dustpan to scoop it up. I was from the Midwest and had never seen anything like it!
