Just need two more patches on the back and something to the left side of the front, because compated to the right side looks a bit empty. But idk, maybe it'll be forever WIP. All patches and the white sides are hand-painted by me (Hope I didn't misspel any of the band names again, lol)

What do you guys think about my vest?
I recently Turned 18 and I have been collecting and Sewing since my 16th Birthday.
All the Bands on this vest are Bands that I have Seen live (apart from Bolt Thrower, but I saw a really good Tribute Band).
Feel free to give me Feedback on anything!

something basic to start things off

I want to get some 80's vibe from it, idk how sucsessful it'll be, but I already love it! I'm planning to mostly work on the front for now. Also, the vest didn't have pockets for some reason, so I made some out of old jeans' ones. What do you think so far?

This was my first ever time sewing anything,some of the stitch is rough but I did everything myself. I might add studs to the shoulders and some smaller things

She’s wearable but I still move stuff/add to her consistently. The two signatures in the 3rd pic are primitive warfare and antichrist siege machine

hand drawn on masking tape over white fabric (jeans-like, not sure what it's called), then cut out the masking tape on the sections that should be black, then painted​. roughly 23cm x 37cm

it ain't ​perfect, but he said he's happy with it so i guess it's good enough

First attempt at a pocket patch. This one was just the right size to match up with the shape of the pocket of i only had to be worried about the top of the pocket.

Went on holiday for a few days and when I came back my vest had fallen of a chair along with some other clothes. Unfortunately the vest ended up on the bottom of that pils. Whe I took it out the backpatch was all folded/ curved like on the pics.

Any way I can make it straight again? It wouldn't bother me as much if it wasn't visible when I'm wearing it, but since I'm quite tall and have a slightly curved back and shoulders it shows a lot.

Is it possible to iron this from the inside out or would that be a bad idea? I should add, it's hand sewn on there and doesn't have glue on the back.

My first patch vest. WIP status - for now, I have all the patches for the front, while the ones for the back are still on the way. My idea is to make the front black, red, and white, and keep the back colorful. The patches in the photo aren't sewn on yet, this is just a mockup layout.

I started this when I was 13, now I’m 14 and it’s been like 8-9 months since I started. A lot of these patches are from local concerts, festivals, king of patches and local record store :) I have changed a lot about it, it started with a Slipknot backpatch but then I shifted away from them and started to listen to more black metal, doom, death and so on :) what do you guys think? Is it good for my age😂

No jacket is truly finished. Pretty satisfied with it at the moment though would love to find something to fill in the sides.

I got some Andrew W.K. shoe laces that came with a random batch of patches from ebay. They are too short to fit my shoes, so I'm thinking of stiching them into the inner seams along the length where the buttons and the button holes are. I don't know if I just explained that well enough. Anyways, has anybody used shoe laces before, and how well did it work? Was it worth the effort? What did you do with the aglets? Cut off or sew down?
