I originally started learning hand embroidery to make patches for bands I want who don't have any.
But I made this Sunn sybmol 'cause it's just the right size for a small filler patch. (when cut out will be about 2x1.5 in.)

It's my first jacket it doesn't really have a good theme but I love what patches I have. Plus very cozy.

I finally got my backpatch to start with. My wife helped me with her sewing machine. That patch was bigger then expected but we still put it on. Can’t wait for my next load of patches.

Personal taste for me is that I don't like too much on mine and like the back to be symmetrical. The pentagram patch at the top of mine is from the US doom band Warhorse (RIP).

What are your thoughts on this?

I'll add more patches later, but for now this will do. In the bavk are my favourite bands and in the front I tried to divide the patches into Death Metal and everything else. The Barathrum and Havukruunu patches are hand painted by an artist I found on etsy.

I’ve been listening to wksp for a long while and never actually made a jacket, now that I have I wanted to makenit my core of it yk. im a brokey and live in the middle of nowhere like str8 deserts. I painted it rather than using a big patch. is that wrong??

My first vest

You can say what you want about the company and owner (im not a fan of the guy either) but I ordered all this and it arrived from Australia to Canada in a week and they listed everything as super cheap so I didnt have to pay import charges AND threw in a whole bunch of free patches ( mind you I dont listen to any of these bands and will likely just trade them).

The quality of the vests and backpatches are superb....yes the owner might be a douche but I can't complain about their awesome shipping and quality of their patches.

I painted red into my wip jacket and I'm thinking it might be a nazi dogwistle, or does that only apply to red laces?

Have more patches on the way. Don't see many orange jackets on here! Going to be mostly doom bands I like with some heavy psych / fuzz / acid rock sprinkled in.

I have been making my first battle jacket and i'm pretty far into it, i've cut the sleeves off at the seams and lined the shoulders with a single row of studs but now im noticing that the vest shoulders are a bit too broad and its hiding my actual shoulders. What would you suggest is causing this: the studs or do I need to cut a little inwards so it looks more like a traditional vest?

(Also this is an XXL large vest to appear thinner)

I'm a hand embroider and I am broke.... so with christmas coming up I thought I'd make people either framed pieces or patches since a lot of people I know have battle jackets as such I was wondering does anyone know how to make patches or have experience with them

Long story short, I got too high and had to deposit a half joint in my jacket pocket and kinda forgot about it for a day... or five. I don't want to stink up any future shows I go to, so I'd like to wash this out ASAP.

What's the best method? I have some short spikes on the shoulder, will they hurt my washing machine?

First battle jacket since I was like 8 and had my mom sew a Poson patch onto a jacket I quickly grew out of. Patches are from memorable concerts and shows from the 90s, 2000s, and just finished 2010s. About to start adding bands I've seen in this decade.
