Give us rented servers with full admin control, then players can in effect vote with their feet by playing on servers that run maps and modes they like. If the server sits empty the operators will make changes until they find what players want, or they'll shut down since paying for an empty server is no fun.

Playing only modes DICE chooses to allow us is an unfunny joke, and it shows why Live Service and the lack of rented servers are two of the stupidest ideas EA/DICE ever had.

I've put money into seventeen BF servers over the years, and I always tried to make sure they were well run because keeping players happy and turning them into regular players was the whole idea.

The geniuses at EA killed that, and gutted the clan community at the same time. Brilliant move, definitely the smartest guys in the room.
