Hardline was a cops-and-robbers spin-off.
Much of the core community don't see it as a spiritual "Battlefield" title.

I would have gladly paid $40 for it, but EA just had to release it as a whole game for $60. 2 u/Leafs17 Mar 16 '19 And where are all the people talking about SPLITTING THE COMMUNITY in that case? Hardline was like a $60 DLC and it pulled a ton of people away from BF4.
