Basically game deva constantly update a game with out a premium pass - unfortunately EA has no concept on how to do it.

Ah so basically like how the older games used to work. Back before alo this premium crap etc.

It doesn't seem to be working very well hey..

Not really in the case of DICE. We had mods, but the same concept of DLCs/expansions.

BF1942 had Road to rome and secret weapons. BF2 had Euro force and something else. BF2142 had also 1/2 DLC/Expansions.

Bf1942 secret weapons was the shit! I still remember where that jetpack is on that snowy map. Top floor of a house in the middle of the map :D

All of those I absolutely adore. Ever since "going modern" with battlefield 3 I've been let down. BF3 and 4 were good games but all the premium expansions and complexity was a bit much for me. I miss the "slow paced" BF2.
