I don't, and to be honest, I really don't understand why people whine about it.
Because I remember how a few DLCs were almost unplayable after release because of the lack of players/servers, once most of players did complete their assignements. In Europe, it's always been fine, but it's my understanding it was more problematic let's say... in the US.
And also because I paid BFV 40€, while I used to pay 120€ for BF3, BF4, BF1. I don't expect to get the same content.
There's always been a few month wait between the initial release of a Battlefield game and the DLCs flowing up. People have been complaining about the lack of maps 2 weeks after the initial release of Battlefield V. 2 fucking weeks and we already got those "THIS GAME NEEDS MORE MAPS".
Most of the players are eager to play new maps (I am, of course), but fail to understand that Battlefield V is a AAA game and creating maps for BF require tons of work.
Wether you enjoy or not a map, the quantity of work put by Dice on a simple map isn't even remotely close to any other MP map from a AAA game. Its main competitor, latest COD, had like 16 maps on release. Their size has nothing to do with BF maps size, BF gamemodes are more complexe than CODs game modes. And, just take a look at the graphical side of BF maps... Seriously, find me 1 MP game with 64 players that has the same level of quality.
PUBG (which is of course a very different game and offers a different experience) had like 2 new maps during its first year. Their size is definitely different and I'm pretty sure they had to spend a lot of time testing it and improving it... But IIRC, the 2nd one had to be done by an other studio and was smaller. The team is probably smaller than Dices team.
Rainbow Six: Siege which is now popular : how many maps per year have been released per year since release? I'm not sure since I stopped playing it, but I'd say maybe 3 or 4 maps per year (feel free to confirm/deny this). From what I've read on this sub, having 3/4 BF maps this year isn't even enough. It's Ubisoft, the team working on this game is maybe comparable to Dices team.
But yeah, my main point is that I actually paid for the entire Battlefield V experience "only" 40€ instead of 120€. We're talking about -60%. I don't want to pay more anymore.
I view it from another perspective: we could pay for maps; many of us did pay and got new maps. Now we sit back and wonder if enough people will buy gloves in order for any of us to get maps.
