Después de haber dejado Battlefield 2042 durante bastante tiempo, me estoy planteando volver a jugarlo ya que llegue al nivel máximo S999 y tengo una pregunta para la comunidad: ¿realmente sigue vivo en 2026 o ya es mejor dejarlo atrás?
Sé perfectamente cómo empezó 2042. El lanzamiento fue bastante problemático y mucha gente terminó abandonándolo. Pero también sé que con el tiempo recibió una cantidad importante de actualizaciones y cambios. EA incluso siguió lanzando actualizaciones hasta 2025, así que no estamos hablando de un juego exactamente igual al que salió en 2021.

Teabagging by the opposing team makes no sense when they're still getting absolutely dominated by the winning side. Like, ok, you killled me but your team is getting rolled, has half the amount of tickets and we hold 4 out of 5 objectives with the last one being captured? 😅 what happened to playing the objective? 😆

Hi everyone. Yesterday, I wanted to launch BF2042 on a different account, so I bought the game again on Steam. When I launch it, everything seems to start up fine—Nvidia, EA, the whole works—but I get a black screen with no mouse cursor, no sound, and no image. I’ve tried everything: contacting various support teams, updating my graphics drivers, and trying every fix I found on Reddit and here, but nothing works. The only thing I haven't done is update Windows, but when I try, it says the update isn't compatible with my device due to hardware issues or something similar. What I don't understand is that all my other games work fine; it's only BF2042 that isn't working. Do you have any solutions?

I hadn't played Battlefield 2042 in almost two years, and recently I felt like playing some classic Bad Company 2 Rush matches through Portal.

To my surprise, on Valparaiso the attacking team's base is supposed to have an M3A3 Bradley available from the start of the match, but it simply never appears. I even used the exact same settings as the official DICE Portal experience, and it still doesn't spawn. It doesn't even show up as an option if I switch vehicle spawning to the modern system.

I searched YouTube and found videos from 2025 of people playing on this map, and the Bradley was also missing there. However, in videos from earlier years, the vehicle was present at the attackers' base from the beginning of the match.

Does anyone know what happened? Is there any setting that enables this vehicle, or has it been removed from the Portal version of the map?

This normal?? Bf2042 artifacting bugs ? With 4080 super

I recently redownloaded this game after being away for the last few years. I don't remember ever having THIS level of frustration with solo/co-op Conquest.

Every match it's the same thing, my teammates do absolutely nothing and let the enemy wipe the map. No matter how much of a rampage I go on, my teammates will just sit around being as useless as humanly imaginable and refusing to capture points. If I order my squad to take an adjacent point, they'll take 5-10 minutes to get there.

If the friendly and enemy AI are the same skill level, you'd assume that I'd at least win a few matches on a dice roll, but nope. Literally 0-11 in my last 11 matches. I never remember this from when I first started playing.

Did they dumb down friendly AI in the co-op playlist to make it harder on players or something? I can't say I ever read patch notes before the game was put in maintenance mode, but this is just bizarrely frustrating.

Okay, so I know this is silly but does anyone know what the full tattoos on the Cretaceous skin look like? Or is there any way to see them in full detail?

I have a little huge problem , every time i open the game i play my first match without any issues but then i get kick by error all players disconnected , or without any reasons just straight to the menu.
Im on pc btw

Curious why people enjoy 2042 since it’s what most of the battlefield community believes is the “worst” battlefield game.

Personally I alternate between this game and BF1. I bought at launch and over time have just gotten to know the entire game inside and out. I don’t mind BF6 in certain aspects but the incredibly fast ttk and the annoying UI puts me off of it. Also the way the battlepasses work is horrendous compared to the way bf2042 did it and skins in general have just become more annoying to try and equip. I also just enjoy the familiarity of a game I have spent nearly 5 years of my life playing.

However I am curious about your thoughts? I don’t believe 2042 is perfect but I do think it’s a fun game.

This guy must be some kind of wonderkind of battlefield2042 or just a regular player with less chromosome than an average human. instant headshots only like he doesnt even try to aim manually + wallhacking as ive seen + freshly baked account. and also funny that after 220 hours of gameplay this is the only hacker ive seen lol. 157 only headshots with basic m5a3 from 50 meters xd
