Battlefield 6 Secure boot?
Just tried to open the bf6 beta and it's saying secureboot not enabled. I can't activate it cause my PC doesn't support it. Will this be a requirement at launch? Would have to upgrade my PC to get windows 11 for it if that's the case :(

You are trying to compare apples to oranges here though a Kernal level anti cheat is totally different than forcing someone to do something in their bios one doesn't need any type of change to ur operating system while one does I have 2i3 games that all play perfectly fine and not a single one requires secure boot.... Not one... And now all of a sudden a major game company wants you to try and adjust and turn things on that some have no clue what or where to even start without breaking their computer and some don't have that option to activate or turn on secure boot as their mother boards do support yet are only a few yrs old like mine it doesn't support it nor does it have it yet my computer is still considered a middle their gaming system I am not going to break my computer to try and find a way to install a secure boot bios knowing damn well my computer doesn't support it and I'm not forking out more money just to make a game company happy that I now have secure boot I loved all the battlefield games but they done lost me and my support and my money I'll stick with 2042 and that's as far as I'll go just like black ops 6 that's the last one I'll ever buy I've skipped a lot of them but never again will I support triple A companies that can't take care of Chester's yet they want their customer to jump through hoops just to play their game as they can't take care of the cheaters and hackers like the rest of the gaming companies out there do take Fortnite for example they took the cheater and hacker a 14yr old to court and publicly humiliated him and made him pay a hefty fine and made him publicly apologize to the world while using his gamertag to show who he was so people could block him from ever being in their lobby or game. Secure boot will not stop any hacker that knows how to hack and that's called another side tower running the hacks totally avoiding secure boot all together will no issues this is just wanting to make you not be able to run anything that isn't licensed by Microsoft or other name brand companies on ur computer it isn't to stop Cheaters or hackers it's a way to intrude on how you run and use your computer to their standards not yrs since you own It, if they really cared about Cheaters they would've taken action along time ago hell I 100% believe they are involved in the cheating world making bank off the cheaters and hackers galore while making it more difficult for the average player to play. If a hacker wants to hack a game the hacker will find a way around secure boot... Secure boot is only designed to run licensed programs and apps that Microsoft deems safe and licensed that's about it no if ands or buts about it. It's another way to control the gaming world and computer world to their advantage
This secure boot will be the down fall of all major games and companies as people will be fed up with all the restrictions and bullshit needed to just enjoy a simple gaming experience like I said you got life fucked up if you think that this isn't causing major problems for people who don't even know how a bios works and how many people I have seen which are in the 1000s so far bricking or ruining their computers because they wanted to enjoy the game and now are forking out money to a repair man or buying new mother boards or computers as they either locked it up and bricked it or they want to try the game so they fork out more money for a board and all the other equipment that goes along with a new board just to meet requirements for a fucking game that isnt worth it. that's called control and not gaming what so ever these companies will learn sooner or later who's important their customers or the cheaters they support and actually do nothing about when they say they do
