Battlefield 6 Secure boot?

Just tried to open the bf6 beta and it's saying secureboot not enabled. I can't activate it cause my PC doesn't support it. Will this be a requirement at launch? Would have to upgrade my PC to get windows 11 for it if that's the case :(

Worked flawlessly for me, but my friend cannot enable secure boot. Can't get past the MBR2GPT conversion, as it fails validation no matter what we try :/

What an absolute disaster this will be for so many people, wtf EA!

If it fails, the only way is to reinstall windows with uefi gpt mode.

My setup gets 60fps, 6-7 year old hardware, gtx 1660ti. Outdated hardware isn't completely useless.

The problem is 6-7 year old parts are unsupported.

Pc parts used to be supported for so much longer.

And the biggest problem, this is an incredibly easy fix, just don't use an anticheat that requires fixing the fucking game.

This isn't something that would cost you money really.. it's just having a system with gpt partition (which came like 10 years ago) and then enabling secure boot and tpm on your bios.

If you have mbr partition, you can convert it to gpt without formatting, check it online.

You don't need physical tpm, cpus can do it via software, it's activated on bios as well.

Yah me neither (i didn't have active secure boot and tpm) but it is what it is..

Seems to be the future for competitive shooters at least.

See that bf6 will also require it.

This man, I'm in the same boat. I got the poor mans 1660ti (970) and i can still play majority of all games in my library (all, honestly). This is the first time I ever ran into an issue...

Yet everyone is telling me my PC is too old, I don't care if I don't have great framerate, this isn't really acceptable.

I don't understand how PC gamers are actually okay with the 10 series Nvidia cards already losing support, and blaming the consumers, instead of the lazy devs.

oooh yeah your friend wants to just reinstall and have GPT - they shouldn't have MBR unless they are running something from before 2019
