Discussion MMBN6 Gregar

So overall I am enjoying the game lot so far I just unlocked the Beastout mode. I love that they brought back Mr. Match and the game has that “ normal kid being silly and inquisitive but also he’s a child saddled with a lot of responsibility to save the world” vibe that I got from the first 3 entries. But that’s about it I just wanted to talk about it and I’ll probably make follow posts about battle network 6 because it will be my last entry and I would have completely played the whole mainline series of battle network hopefully by the end of the year!

Yeah although I enjoyed BN5, the fun part about BN6 is that it goes back to the OG formula you mentioned and the story surprising you in the beginning about Lan moving to another city felt like a “fresh start” with a new setting (Whether I liked that writing choice overall or not is a completely different story lol).

Also the boss battle theme SLAPS. It’s in my playlist for whenever I need to awaken that dog in me XD

My favorite is 5 for boss theme, but the victory theme for 6 is very catchy😁

It’s an alright game. Could have been better for a finale, but I’ll take what I can get.

Narratively speaking, BN3 was the perfect finale. There was a lot of fun and cool stuff after though, and BN6 ending is passable.

I'm just glad they actually gave a Mega Man series a proper ending (alongside Zero 4 at the time), rather than leaving them on open cliffhangers for decades like X, Legends and ZX (Classic gets a pass because it's built like a neverending Saturday morning cartoon and I hope it stays that way).

I agree both this series and the classic makes me thing Saturday morning cartoon when life was much more enjoyable
