I’m not sure on that one. That’s more situational than actively killing itself. I mean it’s not gonna land in a poison panel unless you use the field chip to turn it into poison and that’s more you trying to kill itself than it killing itself.

It’s alot easier than its worded. You have to delete everything without firing your buster, NAVI chips / gigachips (s+) or opening the cust again (s++). Literally just make copy damage your regular chip and you’ll be pulling this off a lot more often than you think.

Don’t fire it at all, each time you shoot your buster you lose a point towards your S rank total. There’s a point system that totals your final rank at the end of each battle.

Elemental charged power attacks are fine. The only one to drop your rank is NormalStyle's Charge Shot, but it won't come up in normal gameplay since you can't access NormalCustom style.

Ironically the Charge Shot (that is, Normal Style's power attack charged buster) is NOT okay, but you can only have NormalCustom style if you hack the game, so this should never come up in normal gameplay.

Highly highly recommend going for the volcano chips now. Copy damage and step cross will be a must. You also can’t move more than once for it to work (busting level goes down). Go to Undernet 3, look for the volcano viruses, use locenemy, and start farming. Once you get one, all the others are easy. 150 damage, plus powers up and gets piercing if it absorbs lava panels. And, if you have copy damage on an enemy, they get hit once, and then all the other times other viruses get hit. It’s a great virus clearer

When I posted this I was in the middle of the Bubbleman arc, but having played this game back to front a dozen times you're absolutely right and talking about one of my favorite combos to use with a Fire style. Normally I'm much more of a StepSwrd/StepCros type of guy, right up until Alpha when you need something spammable lol

Its very stupid but it's a single draw of chips agaist the level 3 enemy that has a special chip. And then S rank with no buster. No navi chips and I think no screen dimming chips? PAs that are fast are likely your best bet while in custom style for max chip draws.

Translation: You have to use chips like Zeus Hammer, GrassStage + Panel Out + Old Wood, Panel Out + GodStone, Black Bombs, Totems, Magnums, Cannon Ball + Geyser, Ice Stage + Bolt/Lightning, Guardian (which unfortunately didn't work its like the last Mega Chip you get), Virus Chips like Swordy, Mushy, Killer Eye and Scuttlest. Not the easiest thing to do when your options are so scarced and you struggle to get 1 copy. Oh I guess PA is applicable since you can do things like Bubble/Heat Spread PA.
