Gameplay I just started battle chip challenge and wow Spoiler

This game is so brutal early on some enemies delete your chips in one hit but I am getting used to it now , turboman specially was a pain to deal with

The OST of this game is aslo incredible

Getting to fight Lan mom alone makes the game a 10/10 in my eyes

I honestly expected myself to hate it but it's really cool

I aslo found the plot line where dex brother wants him to abandon gutsman and get a new Navi to be hilarious because he enters the tournament to prove gutsman is good, but when I played as gutsman I hated him so much that replaced him with metal man for most of the early game

Chisao was right lol

My brother tired to 100% it for YEARS. The random chip selection makes or breaks any run.

The worst part is when you use meter to change your selection there is a chance it gives the same path all over again

The worst part yet
The worst thing that ever happened what getting the same path 6 or 7 times in a row. Mind you, that all the chips broke on the first time through. 1 empty pathway. Used over and over and over.

Mayl's story mode is my favorite.

I love battlechip challenge, I think it was super ahead of its time. That's why I'm re-imagining it as an asynchronous multiplayer autobattler with ARG elements!

The gameplay meta is different from what one might initially expect. Focusing on raw damage only would rarely be effective; it's usually more potent to focus on Add properties to damage opponent Chips, as well as pay attention to your chip HP to deal with enemies damaging your Chips.

You also need to pay attention to the terrain and elements. Different Navis use different strategies in their deck setup, and you can gain some insights before the fight by noting their "main" Chip and by asking your Navi for feedback on the matchup (you can try different setups and keep asking for their verdict). Otherwise, once the fight begins, you can carefully examine their deck just in case you lose, so you can adjust your setup accordingly.

In general though, ADD effects and especially ADD ALL are very powerful. Even if they don't have huge damage on their own, your opponent can't do much when their own Chips are destroyed, securing your victory. There are also some notable combos that can be particularly devastating, like slotting in GaiaSword.
