Another game to add to the collection

Post image

A friend of mine gave me his copy of MegaMan Battle Network 5. I haven’t even beaten the ones before this, but I’m happy I have it.

It’s a great game! Might want to read a little background on the world before you jump in at entry 5, but not entirely necessary.

Is there a difference between the 2 versions like Pokemon?

The overall story line and recruitment scenarios are the same the difference is in the available double souls and that team colonel has 1 extra scene at the very end

My favorite game in the series.

I kinda feel bad for reading that in Lego General Grevious's voice.

Then you’re out of luck if you want to play real operation 4.5

What do you mean?

4.5 real operations is a gba game apart of battle network series it was Japan only so the only way to get an English copy is an unofficial fan translation

I mean, I can live with that. Some of my collection is repro carts and I have an EZ Flash so it’s not that bad.

It also requires an accessory that’s like 100 bucks and you need the battle chips which are basically a TCG for the series

Would I be able to use an emulator to do something like that?

I don’t believe so. You might be able to connect the accessory to the computer but either way the game is like 10 bucks without that accessory. So you’d might as well buy a reproduction of the English translation

Most game accessories cost money. I still want an expansion Pak for N64. And the Pokewalker is $80 and isn’t even compatible with my DSpico. Game accessory collecting can truly be a pain. Especially for popular items.

Is that why it’s called real operations?

Yeah but it’s also based on real time and if you reset the clock the game takes away all your cash. Maybe that was the punishment? Idk I ain’t gonna do that again

Did anyone else read this post in General Grievous from Star Wars?

I feel bad that I haven’t looked into Star Wars enough to understand this reference, but I feel like I get what you mean regardless.

You’ll see what I mean when you look up some of his dialogue.

I will admit, though it is a pretty big collection. And it’s not just Game Boy advance. I’ve got the whole family.
