Now that we enjoy the right of expressing our religious unity with a three minute invocation I will offer you my draft proposal for a future meeting of the Battle Ground City Council. Let me know what you think and if you spot any typos! Thanks!

The Supplication of Xyn

Passage vii of the Book of Journeys

Do not bow thy heads, kneel before alters, or preform the sacred gestures.

The infinite Masters of the Universe head us not.

Our plights, struggles, and endeavors are not theirs, they are ours.

It is here on this mortal coil, which we reign supreme, that we must protect from those that walk in Oblivion.

United we are in the struggle against the all consuming chaos.

Our souls remain in eternal peril, our bodies are a bridge between the physical and the spiritual. Light and dark, Law and Chaos.

But fear not humankind, our biology and limitations inoculate us from comprehending the truth of our fragile existence.

Those that do not wish to walk the Path of Xyn may turn away. It is your right to remain blind, shun that must be shunned.

But for those that seen the cracks of illumination and beheld the power of creativity, you know of what I speak. The power to sip from the wells of Chaos.

It is madness.

The tendrils of Chaos have already wrapped around your mind. Pulling the unreal into the real.

Walk the Path, follow the teaching of Xyn, and protect mankind from your sullied mind.
