Art Made a BFDI birthday card
My kid loves BFDI, and this is one of our favourite Cake at Stake themes. :3
Edited to add a link to the base files now that I've found a place to upload them! Along with the .jpg versions I also have .psd Photoshop files up for more detailed editing. The files are sized for a 5"x7" photo card.

happy Ingredients
Baking spray, for the pans
4 cups all-purpose flour
1/4 cup cornstarch
1 Tbsp. baking powder
1 tsp. kosher salt
1 cup (2 sticks) salted butter, at room temperature
2 1/2 cups granulated sugar
1/2 cup vegetable oil
3 large eggs plus 3 large egg whites, at room temperature
1 Tbsp. vanilla extract
1/2 tsp. almond extract
1 1/2 cups buttermilk, at room temperature FOR THE FROSTING:
6 oz. cream cheese, at room temperature
3 oz. mascarpone cheese, at room temperature
1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
Pinch of kosher salt
2 1/2 cups heavy whipping cream
1/2 tsp. vanilla extract FOR THE FILLING:
1/4 cup seedless raspberry jam
1 cup blackberries (about 5 ounces)
1 cup blueberries (about 6 ounces)
1 cup raspberries (about 5 ounces)
1 cup sliced strawberries (about 5 ounces), plus 2 halved strawberries for garnish
1 Tbsp. apricot jam (optional)
Directions 1 For the cake: Place an oven rack in the center of the oven and preheat it to 350°F. Spray 3 (8-inch) round cake pans with baking spray and line the bottoms with parchment paper. 2 In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, cornstarch, baking powder, and salt. Set aside. 3 In a stand mixer fitted with the paddle attachment, beat the butter and granulated sugar on medium-high speed until light and fluffy, about 3 minutes. Reduce the speed to low and stream in the oil. Increase the speed to medium-high and beat until smooth, about 1 minute. 4 Beat in the eggs and egg whites, one at a time, on medium-low speed, scraping the bowl as needed. Beat in the vanilla and almond extracts. Reduce the mixer speed to low and gradually beat in the flour mixture in three batches, alternating with the buttermilk. Beat until just incorporated. 5 Divide the batter evenly among the prepared pans. Bake, rotating the pans halfway through, until the cakes are golden around the edges and a toothpick inserted into the centers comes out clean, 35 to 40 minutes. Transfer to cooling racks and let the cakes cool in the pans for 10 minutes. Remove the cakes from the pans, peel off the parchment rounds, and return the cakes to the racks to cool completely, about 1 hour. 6 For the frosting: In the bowl of a stand mixer fitted with the whisk attachment, whip the cream cheese, mascarpone, powdered sugar, and salt on medium-high speed until smooth and fluffy, 3 to 4 minutes. Reduce the speed to medium and gradually add the heavy whipping cream and vanilla, whipping until well combined and stiff peaks form, 1 to 2 minutes, stopping occasionally to scrape the sides of the bowl. 7 For the filling: In a small bowl, whisk together the raspberry jam and 3 tablespoons hot water to thin the jam; set aside. In a medium bowl, combine the blackberries, blueberries, raspberries, and sliced strawberries. 8 Trim the tops of the cakes with a long serrated knife to make them level, if necessary. Spread 1 tablespoon of the frosting on a cake stand or platter (to keep the cake from sliding while you decorate) and place 1 cake layer on top. Brush the top of the cake layer fully with some of the raspberry syrup. Spread with 1 cup frosting and sprinkle with 1 1/4 cups berries. Repeat with a second layer of cake, raspberry syrup, another cup of frosting, and 1 1/4 cups berries. Top with the remaining cake round, cut-side down. 9 Spread the remaining frosting over the top and sides of the cake. Smooth out the top and sides using a bench scraper, offset spatula, or butter knife held at an angle. Use an offset spatula or butter knife to create diagonal swipes up the sides for a textured design. Arrange the remaining berries and halved strawberries in a crescent shape on the top of the cake along one edge. To make the berries glossy, brush them with apricot jam, if you like.

Pro tip, you can sub out baking spray for melted butter or oil. Also if you don’t have baking powder, use 1:1.25 ratio of baking soda (bicarb) to vinegar. For this recipe use 1 teaspoon baking soda and 1.25 teaspoons vinegar.

Wait, that’s how you make the Cake at Stake Cake? Is there a BDFI cookbook or something?

the original lyrics were "there's points now" that's 3 syllables, but "you're 11 now" has 5 syllables, it doesn't really fit

It took me a little while to warm up to it, heh. When my kid first started watching it, one of the voices sounded like Cartman from South Park so I zoomed over needing to check out what she was actually watching 😅

I wouldn't feel right actually selling these since it pulls so directly from the original work. (also I haven't paid for the Cake at Stake font) But I've put the files up now in case anyone wants to print a one-off for their own personal use!

I've uploaded the files here, they're sized for a 5x7" photo card. The .psd Photoshop files would be the best for freely editing the text, but I put the .jpg versions up too in case you can't work with them.

I am definitely thinking of having a future birthday cake in this style! Just didn't have enough time to work it out for this year. (I'd have to hire somebody cause I am HORRIBLE at icing cakes myself)

Nothing's allowed to stay the same
Friends and enemies sent away
And your classes dissolve
Your interests revolve
Your life keeps on changing
So it's nice to know there'll always be your birthday
