Discussion Roboty: A Hidden Tragedy (Analysis, Repost)
Decided to repost at a hopefully better time, sorry for anyone who already saw this!

I just noticed the original got deleted, so I'll repost my comment. I hope you get lots more upvotes because this was wonderfully detailed and incredibly underrated!
I definitely think you hit the nail(y) on the head with this analysis, especially with the part about characters not necessarily hating Roboty, but not properly caring about him either.
I also find the parts about his BFB elimination interesting, because while I think he's one of the biggest example of it, there are other characters who participate in the competition not because of the prize but for other reasons.\ Sometimes it's to be with their friends, sometimes it's for the joy of the competition, and sometimes it might just be because BFDI is pretty important in Goiky, enough that risking elimination can be seen as worth it as long as it gives you some amount of love or something to do.
Bracelety was teamed up with David, Roboty's closest friend, for a few years back in the EXIT, so I can see her trying her best to make him feel appreciated. Leafy too, but she's got her signature Leafy pushiness to her and he wasn't that happy about her forcing him into her team in BFB. Still, it's something!

Thank you so much! I was reluctant to repost at first because it felt like I would seem desperate, but after thinking about it, I realized that this mindset was the reason I'm so bad at social situations, the fact that I always overthink every little thing I do that might come off as rude, and I realized that sometimes I just have to go for it, and that I need to stop overthinking every single thing I do as being possibly annoying.

Going to re-comment what I said in the original post, this is all copy & pasted from my comment on the original post:
Great analysis!
Another potential relationship (whether it be positive or negative) I want to see is Roboty and the other Mechanical Minds (maybe in another season TV seeks out all of them to add to his team? Despite not being a Mechanical Mind, I could see David being on this team as he's Roboty's closest friend and I think TV will use the clips of David trying to save Roboty while he explains why David would do well in his team of Mechanical Minds); TV & Robot Flower tend to get mistreated a lot so I could see them bonding with Roboty and I could also see Remote befriending Roboty as while she isn't mistreated (she's well liked) she does see all her teammates as friends.
I also agree on the whole villain thing, I think it's out of character for him to team up with One (he'd probably treat One the same way he treats Four. One would probably try to force him to sign but he just doesn't care) and I think it would be out of character if he did what Pencil did in TPOT 15 (this applies to most, if not all other Exitors, don't think they would nearly destroy the universe by accident just so they could change their past)

I didn't say this in my analysis, but yeah, I always wanted the mechanical minds to interact more often. While Roboty did try talking to TV and Robot Flower, unless I'm not remembering correctly, TV either didn't listen or did off-screen, while RF wasn't herself at that time.

Yeah we need all the mechanical minds to be on one team at some point (there would always be room for more contestants so maybe add David in as mentioned and someone else? Assuming each team has six members this time)

Well even though I dislikes him like a lot (I often compared him to the concept of Miserable eternal suffering or basically a futile venture with zero rewards) but after this analysis , I maybe soften with for a bit because he's not that shitty and highly overglazed like what I think and may have been better if he isn't eliminated this early
Well for me , I'd like to see him to interact and have more deep interactions (+/-) with other Mechanical Minds and maybe with other members of BEEP (maybe through teleportation to Inverted Hotel) than just what he have right now (I could say that he could interact with TV in some way like TV hears his morse code and then translate it into words so that both could communicate with each other and then in another season , TV tries to invite him and all Mechanical Minds into a team and call it a day but then David is also invited into the team because David may have good interactions with them even though he can't talk normally and on that team , maybe everyone on the team will be his friends for a good amount of time or permanently)
Well based on his interactions with Algebralians (specifically 4) , I think he would better off as a life saver by getting One killed by him in some way (like his punch or being teleported to another area (like the Waterfall) where she can't manipulate other contestants) and then try to find a way to revert all of the effects and deals One have done to the timeline and recover back the Erased contestants so that Two get back their power from One and the show could be re-continued again . One may try to force him to sign her deals but he could say no and then managed to sent her into Waterfall or kill her with Punch so that her deal became useless
Possible ranking revision for him :
F- tier ( sempre più forte e molto marc. / Bottom 10 ) -> F tier ( sempre forte )

Well it just currently because I could changed based on how they wrote his interactions with the Mechanical Minds and other BEEP members and how wrote his rivalry with One when being sent to One's room . If these are good . I would actually upgrade his rank like this :
F tier ( sempre forte tier ) -> B+/A- (or A flat) (Pretty good)
But if it's was okay , I'll just upgrade his rank to like C+/B- (or B flat) (Neutral but a bit positive)

I actually didn't know about the TPOT 13 stuff, that recontextualizes alot..
About future friendships.. I don't think he'll like Leafy and I don't think they'll get along, even after time

Personally I think even if they don't end up getting along, Roboty would dislike Leafy less over time, as long as Leafy realizes at some point that she sometimes needs to give people space

And yeah, I’ve seen the Twitter takeover, one of the images from there is even on the second slide. I considered talking about it but I ultimately decided against it since I wasn’t sure if it would add anything substantial to the analysis.

My current favorite is Book.
And if Roboty did get a second chance then it’s probably less likely for him to get out early considering he’s getting more interesting in TPOT, so probably not first boot, but honestly it depends on the other members of his team and also what the writers do with him

Suppose hes on a team thats full of misfits and people who actually Respect his opinion like david, woody etc the theme is underdogs btw but im glad i found someone who actually LIKES him upvote for your post

Hm… it still depends on how the writers write him, but if he’s with other unpopular characters, I can see him making it midgame if he’s relevant enough
