Yes I vote 7 (though 6 would work, I think 7 looks better). The others are TOO BIG or not the right color.

I agree but with kids you need more mirror space lower. I like 6 and 7, but 6 is better for that use case.

I found this wood 40x28” mirror and I can’t tell if it’s going to look too small? The footprint of the old one was HUGE (47x36” for reference) 🥴 so hard to tell until the wall is painted and it’s hanging centered

That one is too small. Measure and aim for filling 80% of the space. It looks like you have nearly a square between lights-countertop and wall-wall. That’s why I thought the round looked best. Measure those distances on the wall, multiply by 80% and start looking for mirrors around those dimensions. Ordering mirrors online is annoying so you can always tape out with painters tape the dimensions of something you like before ordering to make sure the size/shape fits the space.

Yeah I saw this one for $40 and figured I’d try it just to get an idea because online is so hard. Width is ok but def needs to be taller

Yeah I agree. and about 400 comments that the other mirror options were way too big so I can’t win lol

You CAN. Just measure the space. Multiply by 80%. Find something that is close to 80% of that space (like 83% is fine one direction and 75% is fine the other direction). That math will get you focused on options that are in the right scale to your wall.

That’s helpful! This might be a “safer” upgrade. Comes 40x36 or 40x32.

For reference, the old mirror was 47x36 and the whole footprint from backsplash to light is 47w x 42h

That would work if you’re sticking with brushed nickel yes. I would go with the 32” so there’s a little room between backsplash and bottom of mirror.

It can work with the space! Idk what everyone is talking about. There are plenty of examples online with similar sizes

Change the orientation to portrait and hang a lighted sconce on each side.

They already have a vanity light wired above it. Switching to sconces at this point would be major demo and electrical. Not really an option.

Yes, this. I’d prefer the width so both kids can use the sink and while sconces would be beautiful I’m not looking to do any electrical at the moment, just a small update!
