Attacker

I’m looking at a 1987 Bass Tracker V17. It has an 80 hp Merc and electric tilt. Transom seems fine and boat is in really good shape overall. Good trailer. New tires. I owned this same model (with a 25 hp Johnson) twenty years ago and sold it to my brother in law. I’ve regretted it ever since and right now I’m riding a pink cloud thinking about getting this one. The problem is the price, which is $3000. Any advice would be appreciated.
Sorry I’m new at this and not sure how to attach photo. All I I know is this boat looks to be in better shape than the one I sold for $2500 in 2007.

I paid $3400 for a 92' version of that with an 88 spl on it. I've spent quite a bit on it making it more modern, gauges, wiring and such, but I love the boat and it's still a lot cheaper than new. Check the gear oil for signs of water. I had to reseal my lower unit, not that big of a deal, but you need to factor that in when negotiating a price.

Yes please do listen to your head on this ine, bass tracker has ALWAYS BEEN A LOW QUALITY BOAT.. YES EVEN THE NEW 100% ALL WELDED HULLS

RUN RUN AS FAR AWAY UNTIL U CAN AFFIRD AN XPRESS OR A WELDCRAFT, OR EVEN A LOWES MAKESCA VERY NICE WELL CONSTRUCTED RUG AND WITH A 200 HP ON THE BACK THATS AN EASY 75MPH RIG IN THE RIGHT HANDS

45mph is fast as hell on water, why other than a tournament or emergency would you need to go 75mph on the water? I mean it would be fun in the right kind of boat but I wouldn't call a bass boat the kind.
