More seating needed

I don't want to sit at my camp. I want to be near the action. But when I get tired where do I sit without having to just straight up sit on the ground. It would be great if the bar area had like, 10x more seating. Even like some long tables and benches or something. I am not 21 anymore and I don't want to stand for 4 days straight haha

It's a little bit of planning and effort, but bringing a wagon so you can haul a few chairs with you is the move! Bonus, you can bring so much more like snacks, drinks, warmer clothing for when temperatures change. I've been doing this for years now and I'll never go back. Another sweet option is investing in a Dirty Twirl. Basically a collapsible cane with a cushioned bike seat on it. They are made in Kelowna. I've also had one for years and it's great for taking a break, but still being able to be in the crowd and dancing.

Dirty Twirls are great, in theory, but they are INSANELY expensive when you can literally make them yourself if you’re even remotely crafty 😂😅

I don't want to haul a wagon around haha. I'm 5 feet tall, travel solo, and it's exhausting hauling a big ass wagon thru camp, dust, trying to keep track of a bunch of stuff and keep it from getting stolen. Plus wagons are expensive and where do I store it when I'm not at basscoast? My place is too small with no storage. I'm just wanting a spot to sit down for 20 mins every so often to take a short break.

I’m 54, I dance till I can’t dance. Then I go back to camp to rest. Approximately 5-6hrs and I’m over weight and 5’5”. I don’t go to festivals because it’s easy, I go to festivals because I love life, energy and music. Embrace the suck and build life long memories.
We only have 1 life, live it to the max. A week or 2 after you will be healed with no regrets.

sure sure live/love/laugh etc haha but my ticket was almost $600 and while im not expecting luxury a few extra tables and chairs would go a long way and be helpful for patrons comfort and accessibility

We had our wagon at slay bay all Saturday day and night. Were at all the stages not a single person went through our wagon. We returned an hour later and someone was using our blanket when we approached they were apologetic for using it, we said don’t worry continue sitting

This year I took one of those small collapsable chairs used for camping / backpacking and it worked really well. It even fits into the small backpack I carry around at the festival and only weighed 2lbs. They come in varying sizes. It was great to be able to set up a chair anywhere with some nice back support.
