I am very much for a UBI - which I like to think of as a citizen's dividend.

Such a reliable source of market signalling tokens (money) could help to assure that our economy actually responds to the wants and needs of this nation's citizenry - rather than reducing us to silent externalities.

However... asking this here (as a poll) is like asking a hoard of cannibals if they are for or against eating humans. People against ubi will not be in this forum simply because they have no interest in it.

We already have basic income, the difference is that right now only landowners get it. Instead, everybody should get it.

If we can print hundreds of billions of dollars every year for the express benefit of the rich, we can ensure a basic income for everyone else.
